ReplyDeleteWould someone just plain give away the explanation 3X3 puzzle for me please? Seems like I'm the dense one today - I went through the game in like 5 minutes (not becaue I'm smart, but because it was really easy and straightforward up until that point :D) - but then got stuck, and have spent about 20 minutes trying to make sense of first the colourful hint the tv gives me, then the hints here - and it left me even more confused.

OK, I got the 3X3 puzzle - and now that I know the solution I officially hated this puzzle. Not because it got me stuck for a long time, but because there is no real hint for that the TV-hint is only part of ther solution - but there is no hint at all about the other part... it either hits you by chance or you will never realize it... And that's not a good puzzle. Good puzzles don't keep you guessing. Real shame, because otherwise it was a good game. Not great, but enjoyable.

For those unfortunate fellows who get stuck with the 3X3 puzzle like I did: you need a hint from the TV you can turn on with a remote which you need 2 batteries for. If you have the TV-hint (a 3x3 grid of red, yellow and blue squares, with an arrow through it. What the gamnew doesn't tell you, is that you only have to click the red squares. Probably bewcause you only needed the red letters in the "flower" puzzle? Or a hint that totally escaped me? Who knows. So: to solve the 3X3 puzzle follow the red arrow on the tv puzzle - but only click the buttons which are red on the TV-puzzle (that is 4 buttons out of the 9).
Also - was I supposed to make out the position and order of the leaves on the image on the wall? They were TINY... Why couldn't I zoom in on the image? I would have had no chance if Alpha doesn't help with the spoiler.
ReplyDeleteMorning Bio. You could zoom in on the leaves picture. But you had to be back from both the couch and the painting. Once you zoomed in on the couch, you couldn't zoom to the leaves.
ReplyDeleteFor the last puzzle, the +FLOWERS+ on the picture in front of it was Red. That was the hint to choose only those colored squares.

ReplyDeleteI thought the color of the arrow through the 3x3 grid was the clue for which squares to push. Never thought about the FLOWERS.
