ReplyDeleteMy apologies, but is there anybody who would like to explain the ghost leg (I don't need the solution, I need explanation). Feeling very dumb. Watched two different video walkthroughs, no explanation, first one even didn't open the paper, found it and immediately clicked the right symbols.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how did Hotzenplotz find these starting positions R2B3Y4, can't see the logic and the last one is incorrect anyway -- if you start from 4th position, you don't end up by the bow and arrow, but the Gemini sign.

Hi punnivinn, if you google ghost leg, you will find many better exlanation than I could give in my poor English. but I will try :).
ReplyDeletein ghost legs you always start at top of a vertical line and go down to the end (never up). when you hit upon a horizontal line (a crossing) you have to follow EVERY crossing and go down the new vertical line.
for this code we have to find a symbol after crossing a colored crossing. but there are 2 possible symbols for each color, that's why I gave the spoiler above.
I replayed and my yellow symbol is the gemini sign, so geroffmeland@8:19 AM made a mistake.
Ghost ladders are crap, unless the developer gives an explanation for what is needed.
ReplyDeleteIn this one, the only way you get a solution is:
1) If you start at the spade (logical enough), but then ignore the blue line and go straight to the red one (which is logical if you say you're looking for the red answer). Then you get your correct answer: two eyes.
2) For the blue, you start at the spade, go along blue line and it ultimately leads you to V3.
3) Now, how on earth do you do the yellow. You can't follow the logic you did for either of the earlier two results to reach the arrow.
