Hm, seems they have deleted the first version of this site. I hope it's not because the game is buggy.
ReplyDeleteSo far average, could be better if picking up items wasn't so tedious (need to zoom in and out for that), and moving the inventory is a PITA.
A few hints so far: If you can use items, do it (due to that moving problem I told), that will make things easier.
ReplyDeleteIt helps that you can't zoom into puzzles and areas where there's nothing else to do.
Use broom at the odd spot on floor in right scene to get a symbol hint. Sneaky red eyeball lying almost behind the left mushrooms in same scene (this was a comment from another player in first version of the site). Use yellow liquid on voodoo doll and curved stick on the apple (it's still available). For making fire underneath cauldron two logs and two stones are needed.
I like that hotspots disappear after you use them. My sticking point was not realizing the "board" was a book. The zooming is annoying, but lots of other game makers do it too.
ReplyDeleteAlright, stick is used to stir in cauldron after adding all ingredients. I recommend that you count what you added, otherwise you might search for things in vain.
ReplyDeleteNice game and not too hard. Without the tedious handling I'd given it four stars.
I like the disappearing hotspots more than I dislike the zooming in for items so that's not the problem. I even wouldn't complain about the inventory bar moving in the "wrong" direction as it seems to be normal these days.
ReplyDeleteBut if you have collected gazillions of items and move the inventory bar only one slot forth and back with each click it's a bit annoying.
Nonetheless, thank you for the game, liked it at the end of the day.

ReplyDeleteMakes me angry when I look for walkthrough and they rout me to 24 games, they are NOT a walkthrough site. They have clues but not walkthroughs.
