This came up on the WOW site this morning. It's a fun game, and I won't provide unsolicited spoilers since I doubt that you'll need them.

You don't have to use a tool or some other object on everything. Some items will give up their secrets just by being clicked on.
You will get a clue for the 8x8 color matrix by cutting open a fruit. Start from the center of the puzzle with 4 greens in a square, not with other colors on the outside! It's much easier this way.
Many items (OK, at least 3) you find in the clear in the second level are used in the first. And a blue crown you eventually find elsewhere could be used on something else that's blue.
It flows nicely - have fun!
