Snake bite to the face and died.
ReplyDeleteoh, that's a strange stone front of locked "sun door" in snake scene... ;)
ReplyDeletemrtelcom, I died too.
ReplyDeleteNo save that I can figure out. 1 star.
ReplyDeleteI have found 5 coins with letters and the game is over?
ReplyDeleteI haven't solved any code or used any item.
ReplyDelete2 sneaky coins on plam trees...
On vote, one star?
ReplyDeleteSomebody can't handle some
quality game-play!
Love Pixel Kobo!!
I can only hope it's just one misstep from PixelKoboo, not the beginning of a trend... I've always loved his games - but I just cannot wrap my head around this one... Apparently, all you do here is wonder around an uninspiring place looking for hidden coins (or buttons?)... You can die with no apparent save feature, yo you have to start over - a HUGE no-no in escape games. Also, at times the game seems to lag painfully.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope the next instalment will be his usual quality again - bcause this one surely isn't.
PS: A note to the developer: please, remove tht awful "TOP" button - or rename it so it isn't misleading. I'm quite sure everyone tried it in hope it is a top view toggle - one to use to look upwards... and you find yourself on the opening screen... That's just frustrating.
Hmm, I may need to retract on
ReplyDeletemy earlier post.
5 buttons, and -- done!
Like an intro to next chapter.
I that scene where the snack is has an strange rock that is looks like a d?ck
ReplyDeleteOK.. I was in disbelief when a saw the rating, but I gotta say.. this was one point out of the curve for PixelKobo.
ReplyDeleteThe save feature isn't what it used to be.. now it saves only after specific actions (wierd). Reoda Chapter one followed the same system .. maybe we're going to stay stuck with this kind of gameplay for a while..
Kev Jonesy,
ReplyDeletesorry, but we apparently have different views on what constitutes "quality gameplay". For me, a game where you can die absolutely out of the blue, without being careless, and so have to start over again because there is no usable save feature, certainly doesn't fit the descritption... A game which offers a host of hot spots, apparent hints and puzzles - just to make me realize none of them are playable or relevant - that certainly doesn't reek "qualiuty game" to me; a game which features a button called "TOP", which throws you out of the game and back to the opening screen - once again, with no proper save function! - and a button with a switch on/off icon with it but taking you to the developer's website, obviously doesn't shout "quality gameplay" to me.
But I can only speak for mayself, of course.
lol, Bio, my second post landed
ReplyDeleteafter you first one.
I should've added to it and actually
made the retraction! heh heh
Yeah, they could have made the
"teaser" a bunch longer.
Such a short game why the save button is so important?
ReplyDeletetatau, when u first enter a game and have no idea of its length, and there IS a save button, the natural thought is that saving will be important. BUT u start exploring and suddenly... u die! Ok.. great, lemme just get back to where I was because.. the game is saving it all automatically for me right? NOPE...
ReplyDeleteSo, it's just kind of disappointing..
huh? collect 5 buttons & that's all...?!
ReplyDeleteyou can way better, Pixel Kobo!
anyway, thx for the game ☺
