  39. I counted flowers as 1, 3, 5 and 7...but the 4-digit number was 3517, don't know how/why that worked.

  40. thanks Keavus for odd / even hint, that got me out (btw. the clue you get from that riddle is only three numbers: the next two odd, then one even; for the three digits puzzle in rightmost scene. From this puzzle you get the 5th diamond to see the four colours hint, these colours stand for the four kinds of coloured flowers)
