Seemed interesting and gave it a try -- but unfortunately that was pretty poor. The best part was the memory training with the petals puzzle, the puzzles don't keep the changes, so you have to find pen and paper (snipping tool doesn't help this time) or memorize the whole thing. Memorizing wasn't actually as hard as it could seem.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't get the AZI puzzle, so watched VWT, still don't get it. It was A+5 and Z-3, but instead of I+4 the right answer was I+7. Why? The whole VWT was like a joke, made by the developer, but no explanations, only very much of those ultra-stupid circlings with the cursor, and the developer himself didn't know the right answer to the petal puzzle, so he tried it a zillion times, checking the hint every now and then -- but as the puzzles don't keep the changes, he had to restart every time.
A miserable game, and I'm not gonna check NSR games probably for a long time now, but I did like the graphics, so better than an 1 star game.
I thought this was a cute little escape game.
ReplyDeleteThe letter clue worked fine for me.
I usually use Notepad for puzzle notes and clues, so used this for noting the petal clues.
The only strange thing for me was filling the water glass -- you had to set the glass in the water machine, go away and come back.
A Hint-through
ReplyDeletePage through the calendar
The plant is dry -- take a leaf
Move the power cord
Fill glass and dip something in it
Use SD to find a battery compartment
Letter arithmetic:
ReplyDeleteI is the 9th letter of the alphabet.
9 + 4 = 13
the 13th letter of the alphabet is M
Thanks, PuzzledinCA, for explaining the AZI puzzle. It was an interesting coincidence that the first two letters worked like 5 clicks from A and 3 clicks to Z, so I didn't think about the alphabet at all. Maybe it changes my attitude, and I will try to play a NSR game next week again.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I don't like to play games that don't keep the changes in the puzzles. It is excusable for some high quality Japanese games, but even there it's disturbing.
A+5=F, Z-3=W, I+4=M worked fine for me (simple game, in and out in a hurry)
