I was cookin' right along until i had to break for dinner, what do I do with a key (used), a tile, a corked wine bottle?
ReplyDeleteAhh the old missing number gambit, and if your screwdriver doesn't work you might want some Change...and what can I say about the NEWS clue, it Added so much to the game and sometimes a happy ending means doing things twice...this was so nice!

ReplyDeleteJust two minor "bugs":
1. When zoomed out you see the pliers sticking in the bottom hole. Obviously you have to put a ball into the upper hole to get them.
2. If you put one Hana panel (cat tile) into the box it is filled with three panels. You have to collect all of them before something happens.
The game is still playable with those bugs though and like always it's a great one.

ReplyDeleteThe game is autosaving, you can easily go out the door and when you press "Load game", it will continue from the right spot, so you can look for the happier ending.
Colleen, if you don't have screwdriver yet, you probably haven't examined the birds behind the Napoleon painting. There you can find a clue, then the screwdriver and then the corkscrew.
Punnivinn, I solved the painting (clicking on the corners according tot he books), but there's no corkscrew -- just a three-bird thing with a knob that makes the different birds light up.
