Thanks, an excellent little brain teaser for a lazy Sunday noon, took some time to solve, but fun it was! Oh, dear me, what I'm talking, in fact it's Saturday noon. It feels very much like Sunday, very sunny and springlike here.
ReplyDeleteDidn't really understand the tortoise game, but somehow managed to get both variants (upper and lower yellow boxes) very easily.

Click the ball on the right side and notice that four of its sectors will blink, let's call them N, E, S and W like on the compass. The yellow thing below has four numbers (when we add imaginary compass here as well, then N1, E4, S2, W3), press corresponding sectors on the ball and notice, which way the sectors will light up, clockwise or anticlockwise. 1 and 2 (N and S) will do it anticlockwise, 3 and 4 (W and E) clockwise, so press the arrowed buttons RRLL. Then press the blue button.
Left side number boxes are positioned like W, S and E. Go to the right side, press the ball sectors and check out, what happens on the left side. If you press N, nothing will happen, but if you will press W, a big 7 will form on the left side. So the number for the first (or W) number box is 7. Press S sector on the ball, and number 4 will form on the left side, press E sector on the ball, and number 2 will form on the left side. Add 4 and 2 to the corresponding number boxes and press the blue button.
Bottom: if you want to get upper box turn yellow, press the tortoise and he will head left. Then press yellow arrow and black arrow, and soon you'll win the race. If you want the lower box turn yellow, let the tortoise head right and try to win the longer race. It appears that the tortoise will move faster by jumping, so press the black arrow frequently.

ReplyDelete(A couple of adjustments to my WT: jumping does not make the tortoise move faster, instead it makes the time counter stop for the time the tortoise is in the air; and if going left, you don't have to press the black arrow at all.)
