Anybody care to explain the 3's puzzle to me please? I had to cheat and look at the WT.

ReplyDeletepink 8x8 grid with balls: aim of the game is to place all eight balls before the whole field gets pink. took me some time ´til I´ve found the solution: start at the left or right or upper or lower edge, almost in the middle of the row or column and work your way to the opposite edge, always trying to place the balls as close to the middle of the row or column as possible. after using six balls there should be only two black fields left where the last two balls can be placed without turning the other field pink.

ReplyDelete5x5 grid with roman numbers is easier than it looks at first sight: just place each number in every row and column (like in a sudoku) and the puzzle will assort itself. i started with completing the diagonals and suddenly it opened at my first try.
