I'm not sure of the math on this one. I kinda stumbled into it, thinking the last number was a 5 but it was zero, so I got it by accident.
ReplyDeleteno clue on the Maths...assumed it was 2xx and used Andy's comment to make it 2x0...BF'd it from there
ReplyDeleteThanks for the game, 8b! Very enjoyable.
ReplyDelete796 10/10
The difference between the numbers in the two columns increased in multiples of 5 -- 5, 10, 15 and 20. Therefore, 225 had to increase by the next number, 25, for a solution of 250
ReplyDeleteMac I showed -5,-10,+5,-20 there was no -15.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Unknown! I think that may be an error in the game.
ReplyDeleteArrows are reverse to clue
ReplyDeleteseriously can't get anywhere with this game.
ReplyDeleteThanks to other players for clues. Very low score for me. Difficult today.
ReplyDeletefinished the game, but that was horrible.
ReplyDeleteI think that 8B should explain the math for us. I got the right answer right away, as I considered that the downwards arrow may have some extra meaning for the math as well and it wasn't only for the up-down clue. So I solved the math ignoring it, as if there were 131 instead of 111.
ReplyDeleteBut I need to now why there was 111 and does it something to do with the downwards arrow, can't figure it out, maybe I need some extra coffee. Usually there is a hint button by the 8b math puzzle, never needed it, but today, when it's needed, it's not present. And no explanation whatsoever in VWT.
Yeah, the maths puzzle was odd.
ReplyDeletebig sword small blades direction hint
ReplyDeletesema, I thought too that these are swords, but actually these are birds (like seagulls), the inventory covered the lower part of them. Directions match the direction birds are flying, i.e. the beaks.
ReplyDeleteSorry guys for facing trouble in Maths
ReplyDeleteUsually our developer add hints in Maths, But this time she forgot to add hint.
I asked our team about clue

ReplyDelete34 (5) 29
ReplyDelete88 (10) 78
111 (-5) 116
187 (20) 167
250 (25) 225
so the answer is 250. Hope you all accept this as a answer. Thanks
Thanks for explanation, 8B! But that is the same we all saw, just the logical sequence is that I did not understand. Why 5, 10, -5, 20, 25? Why is (-)15 missing from the sequence? I understand that -5 replaces the 15, but why it's -5, not -15? When it's like "first subtraction" and therefore 5, so the next subtraction would probably be 10, not 15 or something, likewise the next adding must be still 15, not 20. It's very hard for me to explain it in English, sorry! Just can't see the logical sequence.
ReplyDeleteI have understood your thought. The same question raised to me also. But our developer made this logic and our QA team also approved. Anyways i will convey this message to our team :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, 8B, and sorry for the pedantry! It's just a game, but I make a big deal out of it. Can't help myself.
ReplyDeletefinished the game, but that was horrible.
