ReplyDeleteI did not find this game, while enjoyable, to be up to 8b's usual standards.
ReplyDelete-- If the solution to the 8-letter word puzzle is derived from the two pictures in the first scene, then it went totally over my head. I simply cannot get from here to there.
-- The math puzzle had several logical solutions, only one of which was the "correct" one. I suggest that the math puzzles be at least 2 lines long so that we can get a sense of what the developer's thinking is. This is the only one-line math puzzle I have seen so far.
Please be assured that these are not complaints, they are intended as constructive comments.
I hadn't such problems. Usually the word is just written backwards and you have to switch first and last letter, then the 2nd and 7th etc. No need to derive the word from the pictures. And I was probably lucky with the math, the first thing I look by such logical lines is the difference of the numbers. I saw that the second difference is two times the first one, and the logical sequence was clear with that.
ReplyDeleteI did have to magnify the 2nd image quite a lot to see what it was, but even if I hadn't (see punnivinn's post above). And while I'm usually rubbish with maths, this one wasn't too difficult. THANKS, 8b!
