  1. I believe the math is wrong. Using order of operations, I get -100

  2. Agreed Nicole. Gotta use the () in the right places!

  3. Also agree the answer is -100. The brackets are only round the 1x.

  4. Hi all, actually maths answer is correct .please solve the number with 4 and you will get the answer.

  5. 8BGames, that is NOT correct. I think you have to cooperate with someone who understands math a little more than your team does.

    First exponentiation and multiplication: 1 × 4 × 2 × 4² = 128, then the rest: 4 × 4 + 3 × 4 = 16 + 12 = 28, then 28 - 128 = -100. The comments are right, the game is erroneous.

Your answer 768 will be right, if you move the first parenthesis to the left, then you have to do those additions first.

  6. In case you didn't understand what I'm talking about, I just show you the right sequence that gives 768:

    (4x + 3x - 1x) × 2x²

  7. Remember PEMDAS

    Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication/Division, Addition/Subtraction

    The comments are correct.

  8. In developer point of view there might be some challenges to the players , this is one of the kind. And Punnivinn you are right .The developer sorted second this formula [4x +3x -(1x)x2x²]

  9. The maths are still not correct.
    [4x +3x -(1x)x2x²]
    = 7*x - 2*x^3
    For x = 4,
    7*x = 28
    2*x^3 = 128
    Therefore [4x +3x -(1x)x2x²] = -100
    Punnivinn's equation:
    (4x + 3x - 1x) × 2x²
    = 6*x*2*x^2
    = 12*x^3
    = 768

  10. Math is NOT "developer's choice". It has precise rules.

  11. 8Games: It's obvious that there are problems with the way you express the math problems.
Instead of trying, and failing, to defend your methods, why not do something different. The way math is done is precise and there are problems with the way it's presented in this series of games.
