The knob fits on the bottom of the clock. Then you can move the switch over to the left.
Also, there's a brown square in the bottom of the clock.

that brown "square" from the clock is a diamond
just click on the items and when the ball rotates to the bottom left corner (i think) just click on it

The suit pieces (heart/club/diamond/spade) have numbers on the back, which I think are the angles for the suits on the wall. e.g. 210 degrees, 30 degrees, etc.

Hi everyone, found a piece of paper with 3 codes on it but none of them work on the 3 digit code..
np dejavu...i tried the numbers on the cabinet and it didnt work..

anyone found a reason why the curtains open & close and we can turn the lights off?
When you move the switch on the clock to the left, you can turn off the lights and close the curtains...I'm not sure why yet though.
got behind the clock somehow and got club piece with 30 on the back and a load of codes

and got the dot by the IV on the clock to turn orange once dont know how... my guess is the dots have to be lit up to match the roman numerals on the lock... but there is no 0
light can be turned on or off too with the curtains opened or closed
you can push the 4 buttons on the clock.. cant figure out why though

hey everyone! the only thing different I think i have is the codes on the back of the picture in the drawer that opens with the green key. also, i think the numbers on the back of the shapes represent the angles they'll face on the wall. anyone get anything other than diamond or club?
Don't know if anyone mentioned this yet but the brown board or paper fits on the two hooks on wall next to clock. no idea why though..

I could turn on the light and close the curtain from the beginning of the game.
You can put the picture on the wall by clock and you can take it off again. You can put it up with picture showing and with the numbers showing.
after i took paper off the back of the picture i can hang it up beside clock
I flipped that brown thing over and found the picture (thnx blondzombi) and I hung the picture on the wall. now what? lol
i put the board on the hooks on the wall and my 6 is lit up now
My mistake, mim. You can only turn off the lights when the curtains are closed. The clock has nothing to do with it.

@lulu, when i opened up the panel in the clock, i was clcking around the bottom somewhere of the clock and the view chged and i found it
hi all, im up to where you are, but nothing on the clock is lighting up for me
to get the club, face the clock, the whole thing, not the close up of the bottom, and click on the left.
I think the numbers lighting up on the clock corresponds to the clock changing time. my clock keeps up with the actual time here. for me, it's 10:37 right now.
LuLU, click the left side of clock about halfway up and its in the red and brown square above the numbers.

jessica was right about the julian date on the paper that was on the back of the picture. use the roman numerals to determine the julian date to open the cabinet.

i think i figured out the code for lock what day of the year is 080927 thats what the roman numerals say
THe coin has a little 48 at the bottom. SO....I figured 100 on coin and 48 at bottom of coin but 148 is not the code to open the cabinet.also tried the roman numberals on lock that look to me like 847 (hard to see and cant zoom in) no joy.

the roman numerals are: 080927 - so what day of this year is that? (hint: this was a leap year)
The yellow key is in the light. You have to move the chair around, until you can take the cover off the light and remove the bulbs. The key will be under the chair.

after seeing the heart is 90, i tried all possible positions for the spade and got the cabinet open and found what looks like yellow sticks

the codes from the side of the clock are just telling us that the numbers are in degrees, 0 degrees=12:00, 100 degrees= 1:40, 200degrees= 3:20, 720 degrees is two full circles and that is why it is at 12:00 again 0, 360, and 720 degrees are all at 12:00
just need the "spade" shape...

i somehow made the yellow sticks into blue florescent bulbs. then turned out the light and replaced the white bulbs with the blue.
spade = 10:00
diamond = 7:00 (210 degrees)
heart = 3:00 (90 degrees)
club = 1:00 (30 degrees)
The yellow boxes in the cabinet with the card symbols are black lights. I put them in, closed curtain and turned out lights, but...nothin'.

once the box with green thing is on the side of the clock, move the switch on the clock to the left so the medium cog goes down and a little cog comes up... the green bit on the box starts spinning
the box with green goes in the hole on left side of clock the green thing spins if you move the knob on clock to the left

the shapes have numbers behind them. each click moves it 30 degrees. so, the heart moves 3 click, the diamond 7, the club 1, and guess the spade, i think it's 10
Michelle every time you click a shape it rotates 30 degrees, take the number from the cars of the shape, and click it once for 30, 7 times for 210, and so on
cant get the fluero light back into the light fixture!! arrggghh!! lol

When i turned on the fluorescent blue bulbs, and looked at the backwards painting,it shows diamond 7. I tried to open the moving box when it reached either diamond or 7, but I think we need the spade first.

michele double check the shading on the diamond. All the shapes have to start out straight up. Check the shades of the heart to make sure your diamond is facing the right way

How do you stop/open the spinner box? Can you do it without the spade?

put cog from disc box into clock and moved the lever left and right but all it does is make the green disc in the box stop and start. What am I missing?

you have to push the fast button to make the diamond match the number on your picture!
they have to be side by side then push open.. get a cog for teh clock!
the back of my pic had spade 5 so i lined them up in the disc box, pressing fast when necessary, hit open and got a cog
got the large cog out of the disk box and put it in the clock. set the time to 8:27 (the only code left i had) aaannnddd

After you put the gear in the clock, and push the lever to the right (I think) then you can use the 4 buttons on the clock to change the time. 827 can be used with the code on the back of the clock.

have tried using the code like a safe code ... have set it to 8 left 2 right and 7 left and vice versa but still nothing... guess i will try setting it moving the slider after each setting
For the code on the back of the clock, 0=1200 means 0= midnight. 100 = 140 means 100 minutes past midnight is 1:40. Use that code to figure out the time using 827 minutes.

if you have the symbol and number for the disc box then use faster to make sure the symbol and numer coincide in the window and then hit open when they are together
for the disk box its trial and error...
push the fast button to get the shape to match the number on you paintimg. when they are side by side push the open button to get the gear

ruff, did you see your number/suit code on the painting first? We all have different codes.
Make sure you have used the blue fluorescent bulbs, closed the curtains, and looked at the back of the painting on the wall. Mine said 7 diamond. Then, when you have your code, you can go to the spinner box, and click open when your code gets selected.

michele, the shading for the start position should be on the left
827 minutes past midnight would be 1:47. Once you set the clock to that time, go back down to the box with the green gem and press the large rectangle to get the key for the door. :)

I just gave my disk box one last try before I quit and it has just opened.
ruff, it wasnt that hard to get the timing right, so i'm thinking that either not all your suits are used up (i think i had to click twice for some of them). Make sure that there are no suits showing up in inventory. OR, I think you might be using the wrong code. What code are you showing on the wall? OR, you are clicking at the wrong time entirely. The number and the suit should show up simultaneously in the selection box. When they do, and it's pretty slow moving, you click the "open" a few times. Let me know if this helps.
