Hi all.
Little fish, little big fish, very big fish.
Loved this one too :)

ooh, Minoto! :)

holy crap, that was some FEEESH!

Cant seem to do anything with the rope....?

Had to quit! :( Never had to do that with Minoto before

Give rope to fisherman and sail home on Very Big fish!

My big fish just swam away...I couldn't sail home on him.

POP...I clicked birds and got rope - out!

Thanks! I will never get bored with Minoto!!!

Such cute rats!

hey! cudn't hitch a ride on the big fish! "no fair!"

I love Minoto too. I am SO burned out on the usual escape games with their multiple obscure color and number codes that takes a mathematics degree to figure out.

Yay Minoto. Big Fish end for me. :)

cute as always. I miss the crazy descriptions, though. But at least this one took a (tiny) bit more time to solve.

Geez, I clicked a million times on the Fisherman, trying to give him the rope.
I tried cutting his line, cutting off the hook.

What you have to do, though, is:
after you catch the little fish in the net...ou put it on the fishhook to catch a bigger fish.
THEN you have to put that bigger fish back on the hook to catch the biggest fish.

Seems so simple now.
The comment above about the mouse taking home the fish made me think that we had to give the mouse the fish at the end.
Lol. I must stop overthinking this stuff.

Fractured Fairy Tales by Minoto
The Story of Rat of Hamelin 2

Once upon a time, on a tiny little island somewhere in the sea, stood a Fortress made entirely of Emmenthaler Cheese.
Above the fortress flew a Ratland Flag, and there were many rats about, both Blue and Pink ones!

These rats did not eat the Cheese Fortress. Instead, they enjoyed the Gentle Island Breezes that blew through the windows in the holy Cheese, and lived off the Fish In The Sea.

One day an Intrepid Escaper happened by the island and, being an Intrepid Escaper, immediately spied a Key hidden under a container filled with dirt. Taking the Key, Intrepid Escaper (henceforth known as You) opened the door and entered the Fortress. There, You found a Raccoon who was clearly enslaved by the Rats of Ratland.
You also found a Scissors, which You used to prune the ornamental Tree, leaving nothing behind but an Oar.

Eager to get off the Island, You gave the Oar to the Blue Rat and away You and the Blue Rat sailed, pausing only to pick up a large Jar that washed up on shore.

You and the Blue Rat sailed and sailed and sailed, until having clicked the right arrow once, you came upon a large ship with a crew of Penguin Fishermen. Just beside the boat was an Enormous Octopus, who seemed as perplexed as any invertebrate cephalopod can be.

So You did the logical thing and gave the Jar to the Octopus who, having eight arms, had no trouble holding it and extracting a Seed while swimming in the sea.
You took the Seed and planted it in the container of dirt, whereupon a huge Flower sprouted and grew (sometimes Minoto confuses Fairy Tails, like this one, with others, like Jack and the Beanstalk).

The Blue Rat scurried up the Flower stalk and onto the boat. You took the lovely yellow Flower.
Being You, it was quite easy to get back to the Fortress to put the Flower in water. The Flower attracted a Bee, which scared the living daylights out of the Raccoon, who ran headlong in his panic into the flag pole, knocking loose a Driver which of course You took, being an Intrepid Escaper and all.

Back aboard the Deadliest Catch Vessel, You used the Driver to open the front of the Clock and released a Spider, who ran away leaving her Spider Silk behind.
Now You, having once been a Biochemist in a previous life, immediately realized that Spider Silk is made of proteins with the unusual conformation of both Beta Pleated Sheets and Alpha Helices, which bestows incredible strength and flexibility in one package!

So You gave the Spider Silk to the Blue Rat who quickly made it into a strong yet flexible Fishing Net.
You gave the Net to one of the Penguin Fishermen who used it to catch a Fingerling.
You then gave the Fingerling to the Penguin Fisherman holding the fishing pole, and he used it as bait to catch a Little Big Fish. Now, no respectable fisherman worth his salt would be satisfied with a Little Big Fish, so this one used it as bait and caught a Ginormous Fish who took the bait and swam away, taking the fishing line, too.

You cleverly took the Fingerling and gave it to the Gulls who were loitering about the ship. They all flew away to fight over the fish, and You took the gaily colored Shirts off the clothesline and gave them to the Blue Rat who then used his prowess with the sewing machine to make a Rope of many colors.

The Rope of many colors made an excellent fishing line and the Ginormous Fish took the bait but was no match for the Rope of many colors.

You and the Blue Rat took the Ginormous Fish and sailed back to the Fortress where the Pink Rat was waiting, with a hungry Blue Rat Baby!
Everybody got to eat fish, and You got the Big Fish End (only one method).

THE END

AAaaaammmaaazingggg!!! Zoz, you talented woman ;-)

What more can I say.... xoxoxo =)

@zoz, wonderful walkthrough! And how cool that each of us gets to be in a starring role!

This had some of the wonderful surprises of the old Minoto games -- sunflower becomes ladder, raccoon scared of bees and stumbling into pole to make a screwdriver!

Interesting -- that fingerling can be used to get rid of the gulls and still be used as bait and STILL be in inventory!

lol zoz. Boy, I was smart when I was a biochemist it seems. I wonder what happened to me?

ROFL @Zoz...hats off to my in Trepid and brilliant friend...lolol *a biochemist in a previous life*....I love it!!!! Fractured Fairytales...they are funny to kids but it wasn't until I got a little older that I realized how very clever the writing was....you brought back a bit of nostalgia ;) Rocky and Bulwinkle....whoo hoo!!!!!! Thanks Zoz...for the many smiles and chuckles you give :D

HILARIOUS @zoz. Thanks for the belly laugh!!!!

Missed this whole series. So I am playing in August. I believe there is a "bug" of sorts. The cheese house where the racoon is standing... I can't get back in. I am super stuck and read the delightful walk through. I am supposed to take the flower to the cheese house and put it in water. The door is open but I can't get in. For the first time I will have to abandon a Minoto game. :(
