Drisana you're right - don't know exactly, but 2 things I did different:
in 1F Guest Room I used the blue, brown and green plate with Tree - instead of yellow with a pattern of egg
and golden plate with two rats used in past 1F Stairs past
but now I don't have a piece of colored block which was in the "small closet with a square groove" after using sword in real time(1F Stairs)
Ok i'm with you ! I used the yellow square on past and now got the colored notes, i miss 1&1/2 block and working on notes :)
numbers on bilard's balls are different in every game, so maybe we should connect this with colored notes
how can I get the last diamond in the cyan mode?? Where I have to put the diamonds on, and what's the order?

For what it worth, i just found again how to get photo piece n°3. Play the white key story, and when you're about to open the room with code from mahjong, don't use code but red key. No child draw there, but a puzzle slot that gives photo part n°3.
OK, @Drisana, you've convinced me to keep playing :oD I'm also intrigued by @grzegania's find on the sheet music! This game just goes on and on and on - it's like an Escape Game site by itself! (admin by @Yalcin, of course ;)))

@Drisana, could you post where you found all of the photo pieces? I only have #3 so far. I just played for the Cyan end + 5 diamonds but I neglected to call the Girl before I put the Luban block in the Hall Clock, so I can't get the ID card. Now, I'm afraid to leave before looking everywhere for a photo piece!

-take billards balls by number. with my hints its was Y(1) red (2) green (3) etc
- Then look at notes hint sorry i'm french so no ABCDE for notes ;)

-SO on clock yellow = fa = 4, red = si = 7 green = sol=5 and so on

btw I keep forgetting to mention this: someone (me) earlier said the Bronze medal gives nothing in the Cyan Key games, but a yellow diamond always appears in inventory once the Bronze medal is in place.

@Drisana: I've just read your explanation of the clock and want to add that I did not use the billiard balls at all when I placed the clock hands; I only used the musical notes and arbitrarily set the lowest to I. I still don't know why the clock reads "I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VI, VI"

after setting the color of Yin-Yang - in Art Room turn out the light - there is a slot for Gold Medal - picture number 6 :)

I don't know if my game was buggy or not, but I had to do the left/right sequence about ten times before it worked. And my sequence only had one left arrow, which was Orange and that was # 5, so it was simple: RRRRLRRR

@Drisana, have you seen the new codes on the Manager's Computer in the past? Trying to figure out how to convert Chinese symbols to binary, then to hex and/or RGB
oh, just got the drawing on the wall in the past: head facing forward + head facing back = BIN or binary!
well, I went to dinner, had a nice long bath, paid some bills, yada, yada, yada and I still haven't figured out how to get further than I was in the previous couple of posts.
I do know that you can click (and clickety-cliickety-click some more) on the Tao symbol in the 1F Art Room and selectively turn the colors off of each symbol. But there must be an order for that which I'm missing, because each time I got "Incorrect password".
I'm thinking (hoping!) that
1. solving the 1F Art Room Tao will give us the last Building Block piece (I'm just missing a fragment of the Blue - so close!) and then we can
2. finish the 2F painting (and get the ID?) then
3. build the Luban Block and place it in the slot on the floor of the 1F Art Room (lights off) to get the
4. Gold medal, which may give us
5. the yellow diamond, which will bring us up to five diamonds.
btw, I saved my game then I submitted my score with only four diamonds, hoping I would at least be able to keep the Photo piece #6, but it didn't work.
This seems to be the Mother of All Escape Games. I don't understand why there aren't zillions of people playing (or at least some playing and posting)... but I'm happy just to keep plodding along in the hopes of another breakthrough.
@Drisana and @grzegania: you'll be awake soon and I hope that when I get up you'll have made better progress than I have - in fact, I'm counting on it!

oh, one last thing: my binary numbers as figured from the Manager's computer only go to 6 (I have 0 once, 2 three times, 3 twice, 5 once, and 6 once). Could this have something to do with the clock that was numbered I-V then VI,VI, VI?

@Gazoline, I don't know if you can get a red key playing cyan key or if you need it. To get into the 1F Store Room from 1F Corner of the Porch use the buttons as follows...

@Gazoline, I've gotten all four tiles (Egg, Bone, Bulb, and Tree) almost every time I've played, but I've only used 3 of them in any game. I would love to know what the extra one is for!
For Rat Tile in the past (thanks again for that @Grzegania!) I set my two way door to the Manager's Office door (I don't think it matters which door we choose). When playing Cyan game you can get the Wooden Key from the room that door leads to (where we run the code for the Luban block assembly; the Wooden Key is where the Battery is in Normal White Key mode). Then, go up to 3F Rec Room and use the Wooden Key on the White Door to the 3F Hallway. From there, you can go down the Stairs and place the Rat Tile in the 1F Stairwell.
It took me quite a while to figure that one out, so I thought I'd post in case anyone else has similar problems.
Another note on the Rat Tile in the Past: You cannot use the Sword on the space behind the place where the Rat Tile goes (there is no Sword in the past), and you can't open that spot in the Present b/c you've used your Rat Tile in the past! So I'm still missing one Building Block Fragment :((
Every time I use the time travel phone, when it says "You went back in time to 10 days ago", I feel like I've been playing at least that long!
@MoogleUK, I would love to be able to help with the 1F Art Room Tao puzzle, but I haven't figured it out yet! I'm fairly certain it has to do with the binary codes on the Manager's Computer in the past - have you found those?
@zoz, I had the sword with me when I travelled to the Past and I used it to cut behind the Rat Tile slot but there was nothing there so I'm still missing a block too.

The crowbar can be used to reach things, like the Spray Bottle by the 2F Blue BR window. It also must be used again in the past to open the manhole cover in 3F Rec. Room. If you're playing the White Key game, you use it to get the Red Key behind the TV. In the Gas Mode, some of the Building Blocks are too high for the Girl, so you have to use the Crowbar to get them (top of Clock, above Light on 1F Front Porch, etc).
So there are many uses for the Crowbar!
@Moogle, how did you manage to use the Sword in the past?
I removed the sword from the door lock and took it with me when I transported to the Past.

well, I think I can say with some certainty that, for the Cyan game with the Clock and 1st Tao puzzles solved, playing the Jackie C. songs over and over and over and over will not change anything. Just so you all know and to spare you the agony of listening to those two (however lovely) songs so many times that they become stuck in your brain!

and before I give up for the night, two possibly irrelevant questions:
1. what is that thing on the wall above the stool at the foot of the stairs by the Grandfather Clock (the stool where Building Blocks are sometimes found)? I don't remember that from DreamHouse 1.0.
2. regarding the plant on the landing just outside the door to the 2F Coatroom and the 2F Hallway of the Office Area, why is there a caption, "A plant", when you click on it, whereas none of the other plants are so noted?

WHile replaying (omg that's so long!) I looked at the grate near the stool/stair. In fact, it disappears when you move the clock.
SO, i think that , in the way we play (color clock and tao) maybe it's the place where we will found the gold medal or part of block. Cause i think that in floor in room with painting tao the second slot might be for colored blocks.

A Partial Guide to the Cyan Key + 1F Green Single Room Clock Game
You must be familiar with the Normal Mode White Key end, the Cyan Key + Five Diamonds end, and the Cyan Key Awake end. If not, consult the Mother of All WTs by kitkatfox here
I. Solving the Clock in 1F Green Single Room
Begin by playing the Cyan Key game (i.e., don’t take White key and refuse all offers of help from the Girl thereby getting the Cyan Key).
DO NOT use the King Rat Tile behind the picture in the 1F Stair in the Present time. Instead, go through all the steps necessary to get the Rat King Coin and to get the Diary and Coin to use the Phone to travel to the Past time. Then, take the Sword from the slot outside the 2F Reception room and enter the Pink Bedroom. Move the cabinet to enter the 2F Bathroom of the Reception room, then go through the doors to the Phone area of the 2F Reception Room and go back in time.
[[ Note: To accomplish all this, you must have entered the 3F Lounge from the 3F Den of Lounge using the Cyan Key. In the 3F Lounge, you will have used the Blue Electrical Cord on the Piano to hear the tune it plays. Using this tune as a pass code will allow you to go through the portal to the Worship Room and enter the Pink Bedroom to move the Cabinet. (The portal to the Worship Room is found on the 1F Back Porch, which is accessible using the Cyan Key). ]]
Once you have traveled to the Past, go through the 2F Reception Room (you must go this way to stay in the Past) and to the 2F Office. On the Computer, set the two-way door preference to 2F MO so that the door to the Manager’s Office now works both ways. Enter the Manager’s Office. Take the Wood Key from the left side of the desk. Run the Luban Code Paper through the Computer and view the Luban Code (for how to assemble the Building Blocks into the Luban Block).
Now, go up the ladder and through the portal, moving the Manhole Cover in the process (you don’t have the Crowbar yet, so you must open the Manhole Cover from the Manager’s Office). Then, use the Wood Key to go through the White Door to the 3F Hallway, where you can pick up the Sheet Music that is balled up on the floor.
Turn around and go down the Stairs all the way to the First Floor and move the picture and use the King Rat Tile to get the flashlight Battery. You may use the Sword to slash the backing once you have the flashlight Battery. However, in all the times I’ve played this way, there is no Building Block there.
Go back up the Stairs to the 2F and unlock the Door to the Hallway of the Office. Then proceed to the 2F Reception room to travel back to the Present time. Put the Battery in the Flashlight and proceed to the 2F Coatroom, then enter the 2F Den. Use the Flashlight to get the Crowbar and the Lighter.
Walk To, continued
Go back up to the 3F Lounge (still in Present time) and light the fire. Place the Sheet Music on the wall above the Fireplace and you will see the code for the Clock in the 1F Green Single Room!

Assign the differently colored notes a numerical value from 1-8. In my example, Dark Red = 3, Black = 4, Yellow and Green each = 5, Orange = 6, Red = 7, and Blue and Purple each = 8. (Some Clock Codes have notes in the two spaces below my Red note, so these spaces would be numbered 1 and 2).
Go to the 1F Green Single Room and click on the Clock. Set the differently colored clock hands to numbers according to the Clock Code. Assume that the numbers go from I to VIII (mine read I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VI, and VI).
Click here to see my Clock set correctly according to my Code.
Press the center button on the Clock and it will fall away, revealing a Pink Diamond. Take the Diamond and then zoom on the Clock on the floor. Click on each Clock hand (needle) to remove them one by one. Assemble them on the screen in the order dictated by the Billiard balls in the 3F Recreation Room.
So, in my case the needles are assembled beginning with Black (number 1) followed by Blue, Orange, Green Red, Dark Red, Purple, and finally, Yellow (number 8). Highlight the first needle, then add each needle to it in order. When finished, you will have the Pointer Key.

Place the Pointer Key in the center slot where the Clock and Pink Diamond were. When you click on this assembly, you will be asked to rotate it Left or Right. This is where the Sprayer comes in.
You should have gotten the Sprayer just outside the Blue Bedroom window, using the Crowbar to reach it. Look at the colored lines on the Sprayer and imagine they are arrows pointing left or right. Rearrange the arrows using pen and paper according to each color’s number (from the Billiards balls). In order from 1- 8, rotate the center Pointer Key Left or Right according to your color numbers and Sprayer arrow order.

According to my Sprayer and my Billiard balls, my order is LRLLRLRR. Rotate the center Pointer according to your own game settings. If you do this correctly, you will get a Golden Key.
Walk To, continued
Now you may go back to the Past and go up to the 3rd floor through the Stairwell door you opened previously. Once there, you can open the door to the 3F Lounge using the Golden Key. In the 3F Lounge highlight the Sprayer and click on the Coffee Pot to add coffee to the liquid in the Sprayer. Now return to Present time. Proceed back to the 3F Lounge and use the Sprayer on the Clock Code paper above the Fireplace.
You will get the Code for the Yin/Yang symbol in the 1F Dining Room.
Here is my Yin/Yang code
The symbols on the paper represent the Trigrams of the Later Heaven Ba Gua. which can be seen here.
In my case, the symbols are Kun = Green, Dui = Red, Zhen = Blue, Gen = Yellow, Kan = Yellow, Li = Green, Qian = Red, and Xun = Green.
When applied to the Yin/Yang symbol in the 1F Dining Room in the Past, my symbol looks like this.
(You can reach the 1F Dining Room in the Past by using the Golden Key to unlock the door between the 1F Stairs and the 1F Corner of the Porch). Once the symbol is set, the door to the 1F Art Room is unlocked.
Enter the 1F Art Room and turn off the light. You can put your Silver Medal (from the Secret Chamber) in the round slot on the floor, then click on it and get Photo Piece #6.
And this is where I'm stuck!
I have 5 Building Blocks plus one fragment, so I can't solve the 2F Painting to get the ID card and I can't assemble the Luban Block to place in the slot in the floor of the 1F Art Room. In order to accomplish any of this, I think I have to solve the Reverse Orientation Yin/Yang Symbol in the 1F Art Room. Try as I might, I have not been able to do this.
Any and all help will be welcomed and cherished and put to use immediately!!!

Strange -- I came back to play for the cyan-key ending. Got to the end (entering gems and entering code in worship room) and when asked to submit or to continue playing, I chose "continue".
Then decided to submit (click "book" above the save/load buttons) and got the Normal End! :(
Note: With the settings on my computer, dta and saves are cleared out if I close on internet windows and reboot, which had happened since I played the first time.
Some more questions:
I've tried to place the blue Puzzle Piece in the painting by the plant with the King Rat Tile (2F Office, in the Past) and in the painting in the 1F Bath of the Guest Room, but have been unable to do either. I know that this almost certainly must be accomplished in a White Key game, because as soon as you get the Cyan Key the Blue Puzzle Piece is already placed in the kitchen above the stove and I haven't been able to get it back.
-- Has anyone been able to place the Blue Puzzle Piece in either of these locations?
Even if (or, dare I say, WHEN?) we're able to solve the Yin/Yang Puzzle in the 1F Art Room, we will still have only Photo Pieces 3,4, and 6.
-- Has anyone found any other Photo Pieces?
I know that you can always zoom on the light fixture on the 1F Back Porch (where the portal to the Worship Room is found), but I've never found anything there. Maybe that's where the Toothpaste is in the Gas Mode.
-- Has anyone successfully finished a Gas Mode game, or found anything above this light fixture?

Wow! I finished Gas Mode, finally! :oD But I did not get another photo piece :o(((
Anyway, in Gas Mode there are some interesting differences. Skip this part if you want to discover them on your own...
-- First and most obvious: You have to keep an eye on the Gas Leak and either Neutralize it temporarily or take a temporary Antidote.
-- I highly recommend going for the Cyan key. In fact, that's the only way I was able to finish this mode. If you get the Orange Key and the Blue key and then go straight to the 1F Purple Single Room, you'll find the Cyan key on the floor, along with another vial of Neutralizer (a few extra vials of Neutralizer and Antidote are scattered around in random places).
-- Use the Cyan key to go to the Back Porch and look above the Light Fixture by the door - there is a Red Puzzle Piece! You won't be able to get it until you get the Crowbar. Also, if there are Building Blocks atop the Hall Clock or the 1F Front Porch Light, you'll need the crowbar there as well.
-- Once you have the Cyan key, the Battery for the 2F Closet will be in the 3F Art Room as usual.
-- Also the same is the routine for the King Rat Tile; use it on the wood behind the 1F Stairwell picture for the flashlight battery and use the sword for another Building Block.
-- Once you have the flashlight battery, you can get the Crowbar as usual. But use the Crowbar to get from the 3F Rec. Room to the 2F Manager's Office and you'll find the Diary there (in the present). Then use the coin, etc as usual to travel to the Past.
-- You'll be able to access the 1F Kitchen by going through the Secret Chamber after using the Bone/Tree/Bulb and/or Egg Tiles. The passageway from there to the 1F Kitchen is open already. Look at the spot above the stove where the Blue Puzzle piece is and you'll find the Wood Key there, as well.
-- Another difference here is that, when you travel to the Past, you can use your Red Puzzle piece on the picture above the plant in the 2F Office to get a second King Rat tile. Staying in the Past, you can use this King Rat Tile on the wood behind the picture in the 1F Stairwell and get the Toothpaste!
[The Wood Key will enable you to move from the 3F Rec Room to the 3F Hall in the Past and then down to the 1F Stairwell.]
--Once you have the Toothpaste, you can use it with the Toilet Brush as usual to get the code to move the 2F Pink Bedroom Cabinet. When you do this, you contain the Gas Leak and successfully complete the game!
I only played the Normal Mode. I had a hard enough time with that mode to keep me from even attempting anything harder.
It's not the answer to the Tao Puzzle, but at least I made a bit of progress today!
I got this hints from the author
- Front + back = binary
- the number of times you have to press (click) : the number of times you press or click on the front ; according to the colors, red means no point (click), yellow means click(press) once, and so on.
- the number of times you press or click on the back: use the binary minus the number of times of the front you clicked
ps.i just translate the hints directly from the author gave to me ; the usage maybe not so correct cause i didnt play this game.

I check in another game and in the first Yin-Yang we clicked:
0 for Red
1 for Yellow
2 for Blue
4 for Green

I submitted to save the photo but i saved before. Let's go to see if there is something else to do before submitting....
I submitted (twice!) to save the photo, but it didn't save either time. I also tried to find the last piece of the Luban block but couldn't. I went to the Worship Room and worked the puzzle with four diamonds and passcode but got nothing.
btw, when I finished Gas Mode last night, the ending had a photo of the Girl, but it wasn't a photo piece and it wasn't something I could save.
Still stuck with only pieces 3 & 4.
The photo of a girl might be the photo from the id card room. Don't know what it is for, but it's not a "part".
I went to worship room, did the code too and i could see for less than a second the id card. So we are missing a version where the diamonds in worship room gives id card ;)

yes, I had No. 6 in my inventory and I also had all five diamonds when I submitted. Somehow, the photo didn't show up in "Collection". I'm trying again now.

I'm trying things, i didn't used my medal on art room floor, but i liberate gas instead. Now the door from the past/present room to go trough the poisonned room is closed

Can anyone help with the artroom yin yang puzzle? I can't figure out how the symbols line up with binary #s.

@DrBigtime34, this is a question with an intricate answer. Do you have access to the BaGua? I posted a link to a Wikipedia site above. There, you can see the names (e.g., Li, Qian) and the Trigrams (the three lines that are on each portion of the Yin/Yang symbol) and the Chinese character for each Trigram.
Unless something has changed, the Chinese symbols next to binary numbers on the Computer are (left column, 1-4): Qian, Dui, Li, Zhen and (right column, 1-4): Xun Kan, Gen, Kun.
Once you have the binary number for each symbol, follow grzegania's excellent explanation above for working out the 1F Art Room Yin/Yang.
I'm a little disapointed that our hard work gave us only Yellow Diamond , thought like you that we get missing colored block :D

@grzegania and @Drisana, I agree with both of you! There is still so much left to solve - especially to get the last 3 pieces of the photo so we can try the Sequel. Then again, it is high time to get back to real life, lol. Maybe we can find some happy combination?

I don't want to confuse you but when I replayed (Normal End, I'm writing some WT for Polish players) I was able to make some interesting screen - when I clicked where the stool is, for one moment I see this (it's a little bug) - but maybe this mean that in Mirror Version Game in this place would be Piece of Photo? :)

Good News / Bad News
The good news is that I got another Photo piece playing Gas Mode. This one was behind the Rat Tile in the Past (the one you get by using the Red Puzzle piece). After taking the Toothpaste, slash the backing with the Sword and get the photo piece. I swear I tried that before, but maybe I was so psyched at getting the Toothpaste that I forgot?
The bad news is that this is Photo Piece #7, which means we are still missing at least Nos. 1,2,and 5. No luck with the piece @grzegania saw. But I don't think there are photo pieces in Mirror games, because of the requirement that we get all photo pieces and complete at least one Mirror game. But I could be wrong!
I also have Good and Bad news ;)
probably Good - I found another way to get Yellow Diamond in Yin-Yang Game - I used Gold Medal in 2F Bathroom of the Reception Room and then used the Sprayer with Coffe (before we use it on music notes), from Brown Medal Slots(?)I took Diamond
definitly Bad - thought that from Yin-Yang get a colored block but no - there was nothing :/

Wow, @Drisana, you and @grzegania are good at finding these glitches, lol!
I was able to play the game, solving both Yin/Yang symbols but saving the Silver medal. Then, you can put the Silver medal in the 2F Bath and escape through the Worship Room, then go around and move the cabinet using the code in the Blue Bath. When you go back in the Pink BR, you can move the cabinet again, although you'll get a warning and have to confirm by clicking on Yes or No. But when you do go in there, the door to the Reception Room is unlocked.
I have no idea what this means, and I haven't gotten any further, but maybe you two can make some sense of it.
@Zoz, when you got the red puzzle piece in gas mode, did you tried to put it in purple key bathroom ?
@Drisana, I really want to be able to put a puzzle piece in the Purple key bathroom, but I was never able to get all the building blocks or the Gold key or the Purple key in Gas Mode/Cyan Key. I tried playing the Gas Mode with the White Key but I just couldn't get that far.
Have you been able to place anything in the Purple Key bathroom???
I'm taking longer breaks from this game, but I don't think I'll be able to stop until I have all the photo pieces and can find out what the Sequel is all about!
Didn't try gas mode yet ! so no red puzzle piece for me. If the red piece goes also in purple bathroom, maybe there is another photo part. If it won't maybe a 3rd puzzle piece ? i have tried things but nothing so far.
In my glitch screenshot, we can see gunpowder for bullets. I wonder how to get it in mirror mode ? I found powder in mirror game on stool near stairs. I failed passing the hard mode ...

Photo #1 is in branch Gold Key of branch White key of Normal mode (hope you guys understand what i mean)
Photo #2 is in the branch 1 of Gas mode
Photo # 5 is in the branch 2 of Gas Mode
You pass all the 4 branches of Gas Mode and you will find all the photos.
Branch Gold Key of branch White key of Normal mode - this branch is more difficult to activate ; you have to activate all the plot with the girl besides you have to choose right dialogue which make the girl think you are an veteran in this game and then you may get into this mode or branch.

The bug is, doing the tao way of the game, we can take the yellow diamond in bathroom where gas is realeased, clicking the closed bronze spot with spray (with coffee) hilighted !
Zoz - yes, I've found all colored blocks but Purple Key was in one slot before I placed blocks - in Worship Room I used the Girl Phone ;)

Also, for some reason, my Clock always reads I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VI, VI. I don't want to change my cookies or local stored objects, so I can live with the clock that way!

Another bug maybe ? i'm playing gas mode, i used tiles to open the secret chamber. I have red green and blue tile, (01 05 09). I'm 100% sure of getting the right code but it's not working. I used the yellow tile (92) instead of the red one and it worked ....
Another bug, but this one is really good ! I'm using blue potion but the amount stay the same, even if i found a new bottle of blue potion, no dicrease...
Ho the good bug is the same as you Zoz, now i can't use blue potion anymore (13 in inv). "Counter" problem :)
there is one symbol that occasionally turns up on a tile (this game it was my red tile) that corresponds to 18 on the calendar, which is R. But there is no R on the periodic table! So is this a bug or can this tile be used for something else?

Fonts problem, font size larger will not display completely for some computers. the maker will fix this problem.

Wow @Shuchun and @T34, it's so wonderful to have a game creator (and a SuperMod <3 ) who responds so quickly! I must have somehow mistaken the symbol that is for alphabet #11 (K, Atomic # 19) for alphabet #18. Thank you for clearing that up!
@T34, I seem to be no closer to solving for photo pieces #1 and #2 than I was before. While I will be ecstatic to solve the problem and move on to the Sequel, I will no doubt miss the challenge a bit!

If Photo #1 comes from Normal Mode and Photo #2 from Gas Mode (along with #5 and #7), does this mean there is a Photo #8 from a fourth Gas Mode branch?
