ReplyDeleteFor the math on the card if anyone needs it:
ReplyDeleteThe numbers on the paper are different for everybody. If you take the middle symbols in the first column (heart+star) you should be able to know the sum of those if you subtract the upper and lower symbols values (my sum of the middle symbols is 6).
Then you know the sum in the third column for star and moon (mine is 18). The difference would give you the value of the heart.
heart+star=6
moon+star=18
-> moon=heart+12 (18-6)
You know from the second row that
heart+moon=14 (my number)
so excange the moon for the heart:
heart+(heart+12)=14
gives that heart=1
Then you can put the value for the heart to get the other numbers.
Maybe there is a simpler solution, but this worked for me.

Did you do anything else after putting the nail and the bolt on the pump to make it work? The drain that you talk about is that the dark spot to the right of the pump? Was that where you dragged your bucket to empty it?

OK, now have:

ReplyDeleteI'll try to give you some help how to solve the paper symbol numbers. It might look scary and difficult if you look at my whole post at the same time, but if you follow it one step at a time and use your numbers it's not that hard. I'm sorry if it is confusing, but it's hard to explain in an easy way when the numbers change in every game.
ReplyDelete1) For the first column: you know the number for the flower. Subtract this number twice from the number below that column (because you have two flowers).
Then you know:
heart+star = A (A= a number that change in every game)
2) Look at your second row and you see that:
heart+moon = B
That gives you:
star = moon+(A-B)
3) Your third column tells you that:
star+moon = C
replace the star in this equation with the moon+(A-B) that you got before, so that:
moon+(A-B)+moon = C
-> 2 moons = C-(A+B)
Divide C-(A+B) with 2 and you have the number for the moon.
Then insert the number for the moon into the second row and you'll get the number for the heart. Use this in the first column and you'll have the number for the star and so on.
@Anita, to leave you need to water the flowers on the right side of the door as well. Did you do that?

For others yet to come who get stuck with the codes.
ReplyDeleteEllie gave a method for the box under the shelfs and for the other box;
The hints you find (with owl, chick etc.) are
A x B x C = something (changes every game)
B + A - C = something
A - D + B = something
For AxBxC you know A, B and C are not bigger than 9 because the code is only 4 numbers.
Then you have to find 3 numbers that makes the answer (there are not many combinations).
Then for B+A-C you put in those numbers and see wich combination you found was right (for the C). In that way you can only be certain of the C (the A and B can change places) but it doesn't matter because in the last equation you add up A and B.
Then A-D+B. That is the same as A+B-D and so you can see it doesn't matter which one is A or B. Just add them up and you find D.
Then for the code you have all the numbers, but you're not sure which one is A or B. So that's just trial and error, but with only two possibillities.

4x9x6 (but 4, 9 and 6 can change places)
But for your B+A-C=6 it can never be 4, 9 and 6 because in every combination it's not 6. So A, B and C are 6 and then D is 1
So flower is 1 and the others 6.
But I did this very quick so it might be wrong.

Roberto, as far as I can remember the only things you can get in front of the house are the piston rod (under the right side of the house to the right of the pillar) and zoomed in on the right flowers you can get a rubber plate (under one of the flower pots) and zoomed in on the left flowers you can find a not in one of the pots and you can go up there to get a key (need a stick).

ReplyDelete- Piece of pump rod under right side of house
- Go left zoom in on green bush/tree in the back and there is a lever for the well.
- From there click on the little gazebo on the right and there is a big rod (maybe that's the heavy thing). It's behind the right upstanding pole.
- In front of the house go right. Zoom in on the well and go left and there's a stik/rod (you use to get the key) behind the trunk of the palm tree in front. And besides the rubber mat and the nail from the tree on the right all the other things for the pump are inside the house.
O and the bolt is outside as well but to get that you have to go in first.
lydia, for me it worked when i did put the bucket on the place where the handle/lever connects with the horizontal part of the pump.

Lydia I tried a lot of times too. By the way, in my previous comment I ment vertical part of the pump. But anyway keep trying somewhere on that connection, on the handle/lever itself and a bit down in the direction of the drain. Somewhere it will work. And keep checking if it's empy because you won't see anything happening on the screen (besides a quickly gone text in the bottom).

Roberto, is your pump working (is it going up and down) then you have to empy the bucket and that's hard as you can see all the previous comments.

And with water you can get some kind of magnifier.
