    ReplyDelete
  50. Only noticed cos I accidentally had to restart the game... Think you need 100yen to get the water so 100yen probably comes from that code in room 2...

    ReplyDelete
  56. and out. look at the picture in room one for the code in room 4.

    ReplyDelete
  57. 0840 does not work for me. Is there anything else I need to twist or tweak? ;)

    ReplyDelete
  58. @arbeitsloser: It didn't work for me at first either. I think I had to click on the sleeping guy for it to work.

    ReplyDelete
  59. No, absolutely not related to that. Clicking on that dude didn't have no effect at all. But I did read carefully, you said "I think" so it could be completely different ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  60. Thank you Shuchun for the translations. This was a pretty good game once I understood what the words said.

    ReplyDelete
  61. sorry arbeitslooser. It didn't work for me at first, but I just kept clicking on things and all of the sudden it worked. I'm not sure what I did exactly.

    ReplyDelete
  62. @jbg totally forgot that cos it was one of the first things I saw LOL
    Out now...

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Leroy: 0480 obviously but even this did not work. Clicked on that sleepy dude a zillion times to no avail.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Just played again. typed in 0840 backwards and it worked right away this time. I don't know waht is going on there.

    ReplyDelete
  65. This game woudda been really good had it been in English

(btw, the flash coding is AWFUL!!! hehe)

    ReplyDelete
  66. @arbeits I dnot know what is going on in your game but maybe you have to go thru the book or do something else first?

    ReplyDelete
  67. @looser: cycle round each 0 at least once

    ReplyDelete
  68. Thanks! Had to restart until it worked!

Apparently there's a bug lurking in that if you try yourself too often WITHOUT clicking the dude first, the "wake-up mechanism" does no longer come into effect!

Oh well...not only the ugly language barrier, there are (possible) bugs too...and fixed orders of doing things you must obey...

    ReplyDelete
  69. ok three questions...

    - where's the 'P' so I can spell 'OPEN'?
    (got the 'N')

    - where's the key to room 4?

    - WTF is a "pigpen"?
I thought it's used for a messy room but this makes no sense in this context...

    ReplyDelete
  70. You get the P by doing the wheel code. THe key to room 3 isin the box you spell open on.

    ReplyDelete
  71. @Arbeits sort of like this link only with numbers\0's & X's...
    http://www.purplehell.com/riddletools/pigpen.htm

    ReplyDelete
  72. Ahhhh! So THIS is pigpen.
Thank you very much! I think I will need that more often ... at first, I thought it's another sort of "digi-code" with numbers hidden in the LEDs not "lit".

    ReplyDelete
  73. Gee, this word on the left wall encoded in pigpen is driving me crazy.

This is supposed to be an English word, yeah?
I already read the "instructions" above that you should see the characters mirrored, but I can as well do that by making a screenshot and then mirroring the picture.

However none of the 3 pigpen "methods" utilizable in the purplehell website let me form a word that makes any sense.
I'm really sick and tired of it, so please spoil it for me; I'm likely to get the logic then by "reverse engineering" the process...

    ReplyDelete
  74. Arbeitslooser,
If you're talking about the symbols on the left wall after you go left from the start screen.
It's not really pigpen with gettting letters from it, but it's the same method.
You just have to look in the book to see the tic tac toe and where the x's and the o's are and on the wall you see the shapes of that tic tac toe. So it's the hint to open door 2. But remember mirror it (the shapes on the wall too).

If you're talking about the same kind of shapes behind the two doors in the hallway behind the door you had to find a knob for. That's not pigpen at all. That's just putting the top shapes together and putting the bottom shapes together to make numbers.

Anyway, the only two word codes are the one in room 3 and that's morsecode from the other book you find there (and again mirrored; mirror the morse before you convert.
And the other word code is the one in room 4 and that word is just on the picture in room 1.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Ta' much, this was a lot of help!
    Thanks for the great effort.

    ReplyDelete
  76. In the hallways before you get to room 3 there are two doors with shapes behind them. Here's how to combine them to get the 3-digit code to enter room 3.

How shapehints behind the door are used

    ReplyDelete
  77. I do not know why the AUTUMN is not working...have the paper...tried it BOTH forward and backwards ...over and over... I hate to be beaten by a game, especially when there are very good clues and spoilers...some people mentioned a bug..but I thought that was with the guy in the bed ....Hmmmm....

    ReplyDelete
  78. Nokra,
    It should work like this;

    NMUTUA

Don't know if it's important, but I did the letters from right to left, so first the A on the right then the U next to it etc.

Anyway, hope it's not a bug, but it isn't a big game, so you can start over.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Btw. are you sure it didn't work. There's not a safe that opens or something like that. Only some stair steps pop up so you can zoom in on the shelf to get the mold for the letter N.

Anyway, if you still have the paper then it didn't work. The paper goes away after you did the right code.

    ReplyDelete
  80. What do I do with the bottle I got from the machine?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Empty it in the mold of the N. Then put the mold in the fridge and take it back later and then you have the N.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Yep...thanks @small-tool...I have put it in that way at least 5 times or more....pushed the button... no stairs...maybe I'll come back later and start over, but am just tired of it now!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Thanks...again...It won't give me the mold....so... Later I will know what to do!

    ReplyDelete
  84. OKAY!!! I tried it one more time!!!! This time it worked...the only thing I did differently is ...I moved the A, all the way around the alphabet to Z and then to A...before , I didn't touch it....

    ReplyDelete
  85. What a game!!! Very good...but nearly impossible for a dyslexic mind, where everything tries to reverse itself anyway!!!! LMAO!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. :)

What do I have to do with the wheel? Attach it somewhere??
Can't do anything with it in About Item view.

    ReplyDelete
  87. The wheel goes on the wall in room 3. The scene to the left of the bookcase.
And then use the hint from the book (mirrored of course, so l=r and r=l).
