ReplyDeletepigpen? Am I missing a view?
ReplyDelete@Leroy... in the hall to the left on the left wall..
ReplyDeletegoing in hope i dont need translations
ReplyDeleteIf you look at the room two on the door, you would be able to read it correctly if you were standing behind it so you have to reverse all the symbols on the wall and then use then go from right to left.
ReplyDeleteSpoiler:
ReplyDeleteOOXXOXOXX
Oh the keypad code which I tried to apply to tic tac toe in the book to get a result LOL.
ReplyDeletejbg put us out of our misery...
@jbg I already tried that code but not mirrored LOL
ReplyDelete@jbg... thnx but I tried that but no go.... must be doing or seeing something wrong... :(
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck in the green room now
ReplyDeleteThnx jbg.... but I don't see how you get that from xxo oxx xoo
ReplyDeleteWhen you get the code right. writing shows up in the bottom left of the screen with an ! Then you have to click on the door.

ReplyDeleteI think we might need a japanese speaker.....
ReplyDeleteCan only see 794 and 1192 in the book as a clue....
I'm thinking the same thing Leroy.
ReplyDeleteAll, leaving this game... good luck hope you find how to escape....
ReplyDeletenow i'm really lost
ReplyDeleteGrr now trying the corners of that odd picture...
ReplyDeletethe corners of the picture in room one can be clicked, but I can't get the order right from the clue on the wall.
ReplyDeletelol Leroy. I guess we were thinking the same.
ReplyDeleteTought VI and IV could also be reversed but no go....
ReplyDeletegot the picture now. Just switch the 4 and the 6 in the clue.
ReplyDeleteLOL another keypad clue.... And morse code?
ReplyDeleteNciku to the rescue top - bottom=room3 in the book...

ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI tried keypad code from behind the opposite dooor but no result yet...
ReplyDeleteie 695-546=149 or 491 etc

ReplyDeleteHbear in the book....
ReplyDeleteoh lol i seen that thanks
ReplyDeletei thought u found some as a clue in the game
ReplyDeleteI just discovered that there are two different clues hidden behind doors.
ReplyDeletei posted the numbers fot them before but it was no help to me
ReplyDeletetop + top signs = 845
ReplyDeletebottom + bottom signs = 326
845-326=519 for room 3 pw
Ok got thru that 3 digit code and used the morse to gat something else Also got key from wheel puzzle..
ReplyDeleteDont ask what the 3 digits were cos I bruteforced but it gave me no indicator (unless I misssed it....)
Thanks Shuchun. I was going crazy trying to figure it out.
ReplyDelete@shuchun TY but too late.. LOL
ReplyDelete@shchun what does that book say about room 2???
ReplyDeletewhat do you get from the morse? I did the code and the paper disappeared, but didn't get anything.
ReplyDeletethanks shuchun
ReplyDeleteI put the letter P on the box, but can't put the N on the box.
ReplyDeleteAUTUMN backwards (anagram I think unless I did it wrong....)
ReplyDeleteThat is what I did too. Did you get something from doing that Leroy?
ReplyDelete@Leroy
ReplyDeleteit said -what do you say to people in the morning ---japanese word pun 0840 for the pw over the bed
jbg should now be steps there and you get an N...
ReplyDeleteOh ok. I got the N, but didn't realize there wasn't steps there before I entered the code.
ReplyDeleteThink we need something in room 2.. I am thinking get water, wet the N and then freeze it in room 3...
ReplyDeleteOnly noticed cos I accidentally had to restart the game... Think you need 100yen to get the water so 100yen probably comes from that code in room 2...
ReplyDeleteLOL I was right... in room 4 now. Ty again Shuchun.
ReplyDeleteNeed more japanese @Shuchun LOL
ReplyDeleteIn room 4 now too. Can't understand the writing and stuck again.

ReplyDelete谢谢 @树春 Hope I got right Shuchun...
ReplyDeleteand out. look at the picture in room one for the code in room 4.
ReplyDelete0840 does not work for me. Is there anything else I need to twist or tweak? ;)
ReplyDelete@arbeitsloser: It didn't work for me at first either. I think I had to click on the sleeping guy for it to work.
ReplyDeleteNo, absolutely not related to that. Clicking on that dude didn't have no effect at all. But I did read carefully, you said "I think" so it could be completely different ;-)
ReplyDeleteIn reverse 0840?
ReplyDeleteThank you Shuchun for the translations. This was a pretty good game once I understood what the words said.
ReplyDeletesorry arbeitslooser. It didn't work for me at first, but I just kept clicking on things and all of the sudden it worked. I'm not sure what I did exactly.
ReplyDelete@jbg totally forgot that cos it was one of the first things I saw LOL
ReplyDeleteOut now...
@Leroy: 0480 obviously but even this did not work. Clicked on that sleepy dude a zillion times to no avail.
ReplyDeleteJust played again. typed in 0840 backwards and it worked right away this time. I don't know waht is going on there.
ReplyDeletewhat*
ReplyDeleteThis game woudda been really good had it been in English
ReplyDelete(btw, the flash coding is AWFUL!!! hehe)
@arbeits I dnot know what is going on in your game but maybe you have to go thru the book or do something else first?
ReplyDelete@looser: cycle round each 0 at least once
ReplyDeleteThanks! Had to restart until it worked!
ReplyDeleteApparently there's a bug lurking in that if you try yourself too often WITHOUT clicking the dude first, the "wake-up mechanism" does no longer come into effect!
Oh well...not only the ugly language barrier, there are (possible) bugs too...and fixed orders of doing things you must obey...
ok three questions...
ReplyDelete- where's the 'P' so I can spell 'OPEN'?
(got the 'N')
- where's the key to room 4?
- WTF is a "pigpen"?
I thought it's used for a messy room but this makes no sense in this context...
You get the P by doing the wheel code. THe key to room 3 isin the box you spell open on.
ReplyDeletesorry, I meant room 4.
ReplyDelete@Arbeits sort of like this link only with numbers\0's & X's...
ReplyDeletehttp://www.purplehell.com/riddletools/pigpen.htm
Ahhhh! So THIS is pigpen.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! I think I will need that more often ... at first, I thought it's another sort of "digi-code" with numbers hidden in the LEDs not "lit".
Gee, this word on the left wall encoded in pigpen is driving me crazy.
ReplyDeleteThis is supposed to be an English word, yeah?
I already read the "instructions" above that you should see the characters mirrored, but I can as well do that by making a screenshot and then mirroring the picture.
However none of the 3 pigpen "methods" utilizable in the purplehell website let me form a word that makes any sense.
I'm really sick and tired of it, so please spoil it for me; I'm likely to get the logic then by "reverse engineering" the process...
Arbeitslooser,
ReplyDeleteIf you're talking about the symbols on the left wall after you go left from the start screen.
It's not really pigpen with gettting letters from it, but it's the same method.
You just have to look in the book to see the tic tac toe and where the x's and the o's are and on the wall you see the shapes of that tic tac toe. So it's the hint to open door 2. But remember mirror it (the shapes on the wall too).
If you're talking about the same kind of shapes behind the two doors in the hallway behind the door you had to find a knob for. That's not pigpen at all. That's just putting the top shapes together and putting the bottom shapes together to make numbers.
Anyway, the only two word codes are the one in room 3 and that's morsecode from the other book you find there (and again mirrored; mirror the morse before you convert.
And the other word code is the one in room 4 and that word is just on the picture in room 1.
Here is how the hint on the wall works;
ReplyDeleteHow the hint on the wall works
Ta' much, this was a lot of help!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great effort.
In the hallways before you get to room 3 there are two doors with shapes behind them. Here's how to combine them to get the 3-digit code to enter room 3.
ReplyDeleteHow shapehints behind the door are used
I do not know why the AUTUMN is not working...have the paper...tried it BOTH forward and backwards ...over and over... I hate to be beaten by a game, especially when there are very good clues and spoilers...some people mentioned a bug..but I thought that was with the guy in the bed ....Hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteNokra,
ReplyDeleteIt should work like this;
NMUTUA
Don't know if it's important, but I did the letters from right to left, so first the A on the right then the U next to it etc.
Anyway, hope it's not a bug, but it isn't a big game, so you can start over.
Btw. are you sure it didn't work. There's not a safe that opens or something like that. Only some stair steps pop up so you can zoom in on the shelf to get the mold for the letter N.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, if you still have the paper then it didn't work. The paper goes away after you did the right code.
What do I do with the bottle I got from the machine?
ReplyDeleteEmpty it in the mold of the N. Then put the mold in the fridge and take it back later and then you have the N.
ReplyDeleteYep...thanks @small-tool...I have put it in that way at least 5 times or more....pushed the button... no stairs...maybe I'll come back later and start over, but am just tired of it now!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks...again...It won't give me the mold....so... Later I will know what to do!
ReplyDeleteOKAY!!! I tried it one more time!!!! This time it worked...the only thing I did differently is ...I moved the A, all the way around the alphabet to Z and then to A...before , I didn't touch it....
ReplyDeleteWhat a game!!! Very good...but nearly impossible for a dyslexic mind, where everything tries to reverse itself anyway!!!! LMAO!!!!
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteWhat do I have to do with the wheel? Attach it somewhere??
Can't do anything with it in About Item view.
The wheel goes on the wall in room 3. The scene to the left of the bookcase.
ReplyDeleteAnd then use the hint from the book (mirrored of course, so l=r and r=l).
