Watched lengthy (but funny) introduction about a purple rabbit named Carpet and a dairy farmer named Frank, then suddenly level 1.
ReplyDeleteTried entering the correct name for the element, and get "Good thinking but just say what you see."
Totally stuck ...
Next time I come here, people will probably be on level 57 (out of 20)!
it is an "Element"......a well known phrase....
ReplyDeletegood god how to fill the cauldron on "rainbow"
ReplyDeletewell....you need to find Gold......
ReplyDeleteLMAO ok I got it - thought I had tried it before but worked like the third time I tried it....
ReplyDeletewtf is a clickie???
ReplyDeleteok the clickie makes the i rotate....
ReplyDeleteYEAH GOT IT
ReplyDeleteHELP PLEASE. I can't fill the cauldren. Can't find any gold. Sorry, I'm being a bit dense this morning :)
ReplyDeleteSome help with Stabilise????
ReplyDeleteJazzy, what ELEMENT fills the pot? Its a real DRAG when you just cant get it....
ReplyDeletesome letters have symbols.....and the letters anagram a word....
ReplyDeleteAAAHHHHH! I didn't realise you could drag the letters. I was clicking them like mad and I even typed them. Thanks escapeartist.
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteSurprisium :) Now that is what you expect from an elementary table that is made up by a jigsaw cow.
(three words)
Stuck on the second part of the rainbow
John can you just give me the answer please = I have severe astigmatism and cant make any of the animation out
ReplyDelete:(
Oh silly me - so easy. What would you normally want to fill it with?
ReplyDeleteMay have to brush up on the periodic table for this game
@escapeartist...I can if you give me an email address...email me: ishwatch:gmailcom
ReplyDeleteoppps....ishwatch@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI can't post an answer here....it is against the makers wishes....
ReplyDeleteBlind ?
ReplyDeleteNot an anagram and not a saying.. mmmmm
Don't understand the bit with Laurel and Hardy
ReplyDeleteHow come its not
ReplyDeleteC---s
T------e
H-----n
S---e
C----e
???
>.<
click around RSA.....
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know what I'm not seeing with the 'blind' page?
ReplyDelete(pardon the pun)
The blind one - a letter does something and when you say it outloud, it gives an idiom
ReplyDeleteLaurel said something to HARDY which resulted in that photo of a ---- and its also related to the first part of the same riddle by the "Lord"
I have no idea what you are asking me escapeartist...but you are on the wrong track....
ReplyDeleteThank you escapeartist...all the idiom things are so hard if you're not a native speaker...
ReplyDeleteStabilise
ReplyDeleteDo I not have to put the balls into the holder in a certain order?
Honestly the animation is doing my head in
And Im sure youre a great guy jtw, but I only have one email addy and it has my 'real' name on it so Im not going to email... ;0)
Elora - yeah they wouldnt be easy at all!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Still have no clue why a blue eye going around and a straight line at the bottom have to do with eachother but at least I now have a clue (of sorts)
ReplyDeletewell...sorry, but I cannot give an answer against the makers wish...
ReplyDeleteRSA the i is turning....,., and its part of the word BLIND.....
ReplyDeleteRSA try googling "blind" and "idiom", worked for me
ReplyDeleteGood grief jon its not like Im not working things out and just asking for the answers.
ReplyDeleteI have a MEDICAL condition......
What about some sort of clue then
I have no idea what stan said to ollie please help
ReplyDeleteOh thank you !
ReplyDeleteSounds so logical when you know what the expression is :)
I don't get the Laurel and Hardy thing.
ReplyDelete"Laurel said something to HARDY which resulted in that photo of a ---- and its also related to the first part of the same riddle by the "Lord""
I have NO idea what this means. Can anyone give a better hint?
jazzy try googling the LORD who was the originator of the the first part about the "i"
ReplyDeleteOliver has a surname - you need to find out what HARDY (but not oliver) was asked by the LORD
I cannot give YOU an answer without giving 150,000 people the answer too....sorry, yet again!
ReplyDeleteescapeartist
ReplyDeleteJust open a GMail account under an assumed name and then e-mail for the answer. Thats what most of us do
Dan, who was the LORD who came up with the idiom????
ReplyDeleteHe had some words to say to a "HARDY" before he died.
YOu are looking for a quote
Whatever jon
ReplyDeleteand yet you are more than happy to give hints to others here
ReplyDeletehttp://www.gamershood.com/forum/showthread.php?33191-The-Cow/page6
Okay, so Lord Hardy? I can find all sorts of quotes, but I don't know how that will work. Do I have to type an entire quote?
ReplyDeleteI respect the makers wishes escapeartist!
ReplyDeleteStop fighting with me.....
ReplyDeleteHardy isnt a Lord Dan.......
ReplyDeleteHardy was the underling of a very famous Lord who was the origin of the first part of the riddle
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteLaurel might be asking a question for this as a result....and a Lord might, with a blind i might ask it.....(and I am sure I have given too much away)
ReplyDeleteRSA
ReplyDeleteBetter delete that comment, it has the answer and jon will be cross
*rolls eyes*
gee...well...that was an accidental spoiler...but the answer has been given....
ReplyDeleteI...I still don't get it. I don't know what I have to type! I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. The text box doesn't allow enough characters to put in a whole quote. It must be a name, but I don't know who Thomas Hardy was an "underling" to, and I don't know what else to type. I put in Thomas Hardy and it said "You're almost there. What do 6699 symbolize?" and I figured it's quotes, or quote. But that doesn't do anything.
ReplyDeleteI don't get cross....I like fun! Try to enjoy the game...it is great! (but you will hate level 20!)
ReplyDeleteOh crap! Sorry! Had tried everything EXCEPT that phrase.
ReplyDeleteDan its a quote of three words
ReplyDeleteWell I got it from RSA's comment, thankfully, because I never would have figured that out. Ever.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so now I'm stuck on the Stabilise one. Help?
DanManX
ReplyDeleteIts not a name. It is what he said to Thomas.
Look at what Hardy is doing and then imagine what Laurl would have had to say to get him to do it
Well thats the one I need help on too Dan......
ReplyDeleteI cannot make out the animation at all so will need some clues please......
Thank you escapeartist! I should've guessed that.
ReplyDeleteescapeartist, I can make out the animation, but it doesn't help. The letters will periodically change into symbols for a brief moment. I tried arranging the symbols on the spots according to the order they appear in the word. Didn't work. Then I tried doing it in the order that the letters change. Nothing.
ReplyDeleteI even just tried based on how many lines each shape had. Also didn't work. I don't get it. There is no answer, unless someone can prove me wrong.
For Stablise, you can drag the balls to the letters and then to the top.
ReplyDeleteDo we have to get them in any particular order?
stabilise....the letters become symbols.....anagram...then place....
ReplyDeleteI dont get it either Dan
ReplyDeleteI did a hint up ^^ about the order I had tried but no luck....
the words into each level give a little something....in this case.....explosive....
ReplyDeletestabilize: every letter has got a certain symbol...find out the letters for the symbols on the ball and you get an anagram
ReplyDelete5 letters.... :)
ReplyDeleteOMG I got the word......
ReplyDeletePUre fluke I tell you
Okay escapeartist, I got it. I'm gonna try to remember the order for you but...I may not. :\
ReplyDeleteAnd just so I don't give the full answer, I'll do it by number of lines in the shape:
4, 6, 1, 3, 2
TY for the help :)
ReplyDeleteOkay. Got it.
ReplyDeleteThere are 5 letters in the word (what an explosive does) and you have to put the symbols in the order that those letters go
the letter R doesn't feature but, if it did, and it was represented by an X and that was the third letter then the X ball would go in the third slot at the top
Does that make any sense?
LMAO the second part of that one was a piece of cake!!!
ReplyDeleteONwards!
Now I'm stuck at the next one. The "chapter" is "Be careful what you wish for." There is the word MIDAS and then a place to enter 4 numbers. Now, the numbers are gold when you see them, and Midas was the king who wished everything he touched would turn to gold. So the number must have something to do with that.
ReplyDeleteI had thought so too Dan but O is a letter that is greater than 9
ReplyDeleteSo it cant be gold
Well I aint too sure if its so easy. Thought that B may stand for bottom but it doesn't
ReplyDelete@escapeartist I got the 1st part but I can't get the second part. Clue please?
ReplyDeleteOh POP
ReplyDeleteNevermind. Read the words
sheesh - blond morning
put your finger on it....then hold............
ReplyDeleteI GOT IT!
ReplyDeleteThere's a fingerprint on the M. That should give you a hint what to do (if not, just imagine if you found something gold, what would you do? Just let it sit there all dirty?)
That will reveal a hint on the wall. Say that hint out loud until it sounds like something.
Put in that number (it is NOT 4 numbers) and then type in what that number represents.
The DIRECTION you have to click is in the WORD.......
ReplyDeleteyou have to click left right up or down.... dont you???
:)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
ReplyDeleteWell done Dan!
ReplyDeleteDidnt even see the fingerprint.
Got the numbers.. but
B---
S--
A---t
didnt work....
Perhaps I better try a martini
Just type his name, escapeartist
ReplyDeleteHmm tried that too Dan
ReplyDeleteDo I need one of the actors or the character?
*tries an actor*
Anyway, I'm stuck again at the next one.
ReplyDelete"Which Russian cult had no members?" There is a dotted line box around it, with a symbol of scissors on it, implying it can be cut out. I have found no place to click though. There's a text box to enter an answer.
Character, escapeartist
ReplyDeleteHave tried character first name
ReplyDeleteFirst and last name
last name
capitals and without caps
space and no space
Wtf am I missing LOL
take it literally......
ReplyDeleteescapeartist, think shirley bassey!!
ReplyDeleteescapeartist, just put J---- B--- That's what worked for me.
ReplyDeleteTY JAZZY!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDan I think you got off lightly pal.... ;)
escapeartist
ReplyDeleteThe song about the word on the wall came from which movie that features that charactor?
OH! Oh God I'm sorry. I was wrong. It wasn't the character name. It's the name of one of his villains. A villain with sort of a reverse Midas touch...
ReplyDeleteGod I'm tired right now...
No probs. That's probably the only one I'll be able to help you with lol. I'm stuck on the russian cult question.
ReplyDelete*hands Dan a martini*
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck on the Russian cult one too. I don't have any idea where to start. I tried typing "cut" and "cut the box" and all that. Nothing. I WILL NOT be Googling Russian cults on the chance that this is an actual thing. If you need to get outside information, it's not actually a riddle (one of the reasons I don't play most "change the url" games, as they require looking in the source and doing all sorts of other stupid and annoying things).
ReplyDeleteWell who would have thought that russian eunuchs had to register !?!
ReplyDeleteDan
ReplyDeletegoogle russian cult and then the word that happens to eunichs.....
I googled the actual question but got nothing
ReplyDeleteEunichs get 'nothing' as well
ReplyDelete*snorts*
Try googling
ReplyDeleteRussian eunuchs
just google what you have......Russian, cult, eunuch.....the answer is there....
ReplyDeleteOn the puppy one. It isn't about the Canadian Maple and it isn't about the Labrador . Well It doesn't appear to be
ReplyDeleteHmm a puppy with a canadian maple leaf on its collar and whos its closet relative......
ReplyDeleteThat was stupid
ReplyDeleteLabradors have another name ;)
ReplyDeleteIve tried the four neighbouring coutries as well
ReplyDeleteBut Nope
Figured out the dog one. The dog is a yellow lab, or a Labrador. It has a Canadian maple leaf on its collar. Canada. Labrador. Closest neighbor.
ReplyDeleteGeography fans will get it.
aah, Its another name for the breed of the puppy
ReplyDeleteI got the one after that too. Blue Movie. What movie featured blue things? Very famous. Made LOTS of money.
ReplyDeleteI am stuck, however, on the tablet one. I don't even have a clue.
Why isnt retriever working?
ReplyDeleteLMAO Ok I got it....
ReplyDeleteOnwards again
Cause that's not the answer, escapeartist.
ReplyDeleteLook at a map of Canada. Find Labrador. Now find the closest province to it.
(If you know dog breeds, there is a breed with the same name, but I think it's safe to assume most people are NOT experts on such things. :P )
Can't get the order of the cards right
ReplyDeleteOh ffs who can remember the "explosion" shapes this far on.....
ReplyDelete*kicks someone*
That's not the order you need, escapeartist.
ReplyDeleteTHIS is where you need the number of lines in each shape. Smallest to largest.
*loves Dan*
ReplyDelete(Except the star. The star is considered less than the hexagon, just so there's no confusion)
ReplyDeleteSmallest to largest doesn't work for me - unless 0 has the most lines?
ReplyDeleteOh. Its the last two that are swapped around
ReplyDeleteO is made up of one continous line .....
ReplyDeleteescapeartist, it's not another country. It's a part of the same country. Think of a large breed of dog
ReplyDeleteLMAO @ blue movie
ReplyDeleteHmm the tablet one isnt runes either
ReplyDeleteAlright, I'm making headway on the tablet.
ReplyDeleteIn three of the corners are things you can drag. Line them up so they fit around the symbol in the middle of the tablet and then take the letters revealed by the holes. The anagram of that is what you write (Hint: the tablets have been stolen from their ruins, and someone who messes up a building is called a ______)
Then you get 6 red numbers, with a red dot in between.
I don't know what this means yet.
Well, I didn't Google it on purpose, but Google provided the answer: those are the years of the life of a famous king of the people the anagram gave us
ReplyDeleteWas just about to post that dan!
ReplyDeleteNext one is strange. A series of pictures, with the word "SOLVE" in the middle. Each letter of SOLVE is a different color. Clicking each color and then clicking the pictures will put a border of that color on the picture.
ReplyDeleteI tried matching them to what (at least to me) was the most prominent color in each picture, but that's either not it, or I can't figure the colors correctly. So I'm stuck.
Thanks
ReplyDeleteTook a bit of fiddling with the hessian pieces but wouldn't have even found them if you hadn't mentioned them
WTF is up with solve???
ReplyDeleteOn a whim, I thought maybe it maybe was the first letter of each word in the picture, and then match the colors, but I don't think that's it. So I tried to match other things. Like O for orchestra was easy, S for shoe and snail. But I thought maybe O for oar, like the guy in the canoe? And e for equine, the horse?
ReplyDeleteCan't figure that out either though.
I presume that we have to get two pictures for each colour but that is difficult
ReplyDeleteYeah, I can't figure it out. And I'm beat, so I have to go to sleep. Sorry everyone. Hopefully someone can figure it out by tomorrow for me! :P
ReplyDeleteheres some hints for 11
ReplyDeletehttp://www.gamershood.com/forum/showthread.php?33191-The-Cow/page5
Seems there are 5x2 pairs
and its to do with the colour
And it appears that the pictures match up as pairs..
ReplyDeleteTrying to sort out an order
Am I on the right track by putting together Horse and Shoe?
ReplyDeleteNope - obviously not :(
ReplyDeletersa escape and dan did you speak to granmaa
ReplyDeletetry poetry....
ReplyDeleteDo the colors matter?
ReplyDeletelvl 1: On a wiki page of a musical band. Tried to make connection of it's name and track lists with Periodic table but nothing.
ReplyDeleteNaught level one is a play on words, the element is wrong but looks like a common word so name the element that you see to make a common phrase.
ReplyDeleteThanks. So I need to try granmaa or poetry.
ReplyDeleteOh my !!
At least my species of snail should be right. Now I just need to figure out what words to use for the rest of the things
Oh you clever people :) That worked with the granmaa just beautifully
ReplyDeleteRSA I am still completed perplexed, help please?
ReplyDeleteHi clever people! It looks like I won't be able to join you today... Stuck on lvl 1 and good thinking... :(
ReplyDeleteNumber one is a common phrase It is the "element".
ReplyDeleteLizard
ReplyDeleteThe thing you use to change channels on the tv is a R......
Put that into an anagram solver and you will get the name of the thing that is crashing towards earth in the other photo.
ah ok
ReplyDeleteDo the colors matter at all?
al sal
ReplyDeleteWhat common expression would be on a table of Elements and called Surprisium?
Na. colours are irrelevant as long as the two that match have the same colour
ReplyDeleteFinally, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI know all the films and I know when they were made. They don't go in the order of release (either back or forward).
ReplyDeleteI can only name 3 of the films trying to figure out the rest
ReplyDeleteI think they are alphabetical if I can get the last two movies
ReplyDeleteAm I allowed to give the names of the films?
ReplyDeleteThanks guys!
ReplyDeleteI have D*** O* T******, E*******, F**** E*****, G*** W*** T** W***
ReplyDeleteNope. Not alphabetical. Maybe oscar nominations?
ReplyDeleteThe hint given on the other site was write them all down and see what they have in common.
ReplyDeleteOh toss it. If someone complains I will delete this
ReplyDeleteDays of thunder 1990
Independence Day 1996
Entrapment 1999
Girl Interrupted 1996
Gone With The Wind 1939
Enter the Dragon 1973
Not Girl Interrupted it is The Fifth Element
ReplyDeleteThanks Lizard - doesn't help much at this point though. Have you any clues?
ReplyDeleteI wrote them all down, tried order they were made and alphabetical. Trying to see what goes together.
ReplyDeletekeep going....
ReplyDeleteI tried counting the letters in the titles, can you give me a direction to go in Jon?
ReplyDeleteSee the names.. starts and ends
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, thanks! RSA got it, are you still trying?
ReplyDeleteOk now stuck on the second half of twelve, got the person but what are they looking for in the second half?
ReplyDeleteSorry not 12, 13 I think. The chart.
ReplyDeleteOkay back from burning the rice and still no closer to figuring out the cinema one. Tried anagramming everything in sight but can't see it
ReplyDeleteCan someone please tell me what the picture is on the top line 2nd from left on puzzle 11. Looks like comet??? Thanks
ReplyDeletejazzypix321
ReplyDeleteYes it is, kind of.
If it comes to earth then we call it a M........
Thanks Momma, I thought so......Right so how do they connect? Really bugging me now. I just cannot do it
ReplyDeletejazzypix321
ReplyDeleteIf you put the name of the thing hurtling towards earth into an anagram solver, it will give you a word which is one of the other pictures (think the thing to change channels on the TV)
For the cinema one - is it the name of a movie?
ReplyDeletehi anybody dre?
ReplyDeleteDon't know if I'm dre but I am definately dreadfully tired of looking at these 6 pictures
ReplyDeletesame here man
ReplyDeleteif u get how plzz rply
Thank you Momma :))
ReplyDeleteSee the names of the movies .. starts and ends.
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone.. following along. Stuck with the movies. Not understanding starts and ends
ReplyDeleteRead the names where does it start..
ReplyDeleteGot it now. Thanks Faltu. For those who need more hints. see that the first three letters of the first movie match the last three letters of the second movie. etc.. when in doubt, always start with the red head!
ReplyDeleteUgh, I am STUCK on lvl 1. I've tried entering the correct element but it says say what you see. I have no idea what that means. Help?
ReplyDeleteLevel 1 is a play on words.
ReplyDeleteWhat element do you see?
LEVEL 13 is not Pigeon or Bluebird
ReplyDelete@PurpleLogic I know it's a play on words but I just DO NOT get it whatsoever.
ReplyDeletelevel 1.....it is the E****** of S******* :)
ReplyDeleteLEVEL 1
ReplyDeleteChart of Elements

ReplyDeleteGot a few eggs
Still stuck on finding a name
