  1. Watched lengthy (but funny) introduction about a purple rabbit named Carpet and a dairy farmer named Frank, then suddenly level 1.
Tried entering the correct name for the element, and get "Good thinking but just say what you see."
    Totally stuck ...
Next time I come here, people will probably be on level 57 (out of 20)!

    ReplyDelete
  11. AAAHHHHH! I didn't realise you could drag the letters. I was clicking them like mad and I even typed them. Thanks escapeartist.

    ReplyDelete
  12. LOL
Surprisium :) Now that is what you expect from an elementary table that is made up by a jigsaw cow.

    (three words)

Stuck on the second part of the rainbow

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  16. oppps....ishwatch@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  17. I can't post an answer here....it is against the makers wishes....

    ReplyDelete
  18. Blind ?
Not an anagram and not a saying.. mmmmm

    ReplyDelete
  19. Don't understand the bit with Laurel and Hardy

    ReplyDelete
  20. How come its not

    C---s
    T------e
    H-----n
    S---e
    C----e

    ???

    >.<

    ReplyDelete
  21. Does anyone know what I'm not seeing with the 'blind' page?
    (pardon the pun)

    ReplyDelete
  22. The blind one - a letter does something and when you say it outloud, it gives an idiom

Laurel said something to HARDY which resulted in that photo of a ---- and its also related to the first part of the same riddle by the "Lord"

    ReplyDelete
  23. I have no idea what you are asking me escapeartist...but you are on the wrong track....

    ReplyDelete
  24. Thank you escapeartist...all the idiom things are so hard if you're not a native speaker...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Stabilise

Do I not have to put the balls into the holder in a certain order?

Honestly the animation is doing my head in

And Im sure youre a great guy jtw, but I only have one email addy and it has my 'real' name on it so Im not going to email... ;0)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Elora - yeah they wouldnt be easy at all!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Thanks. Still have no clue why a blue eye going around and a straight line at the bottom have to do with eachother but at least I now have a clue (of sorts)

    ReplyDelete
  28. well...sorry, but I cannot give an answer against the makers wish...

    ReplyDelete
  29. RSA the i is turning....,., and its part of the word BLIND.....

    ReplyDelete
  30. RSA try googling "blind" and "idiom", worked for me

    ReplyDelete
  31. Good grief jon its not like Im not working things out and just asking for the answers.

    I have a MEDICAL condition......

What about some sort of clue then

    ReplyDelete
  32. I have no idea what stan said to ollie please help

    ReplyDelete
  33. Oh thank you !
Sounds so logical when you know what the expression is :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. I don't get the Laurel and Hardy thing.

"Laurel said something to HARDY which resulted in that photo of a ---- and its also related to the first part of the same riddle by the "Lord""

I have NO idea what this means. Can anyone give a better hint?

    ReplyDelete
  35. jazzy try googling the LORD who was the originator of the the first part about the "i"

Oliver has a surname - you need to find out what HARDY (but not oliver) was asked by the LORD

    ReplyDelete
  36. I cannot give YOU an answer without giving 150,000 people the answer too....sorry, yet again!

    ReplyDelete
  37. escapeartist

Just open a GMail account under an assumed name and then e-mail for the answer. Thats what most of us do

    ReplyDelete
  38. Dan, who was the LORD who came up with the idiom????

He had some words to say to a "HARDY" before he died.

YOu are looking for a quote

    ReplyDelete
  39. and yet you are more than happy to give hints to others here

    http://www.gamershood.com/forum/showthread.php?33191-The-Cow/page6

    ReplyDelete
  40. Okay, so Lord Hardy? I can find all sorts of quotes, but I don't know how that will work. Do I have to type an entire quote?

    ReplyDelete
  41. I respect the makers wishes escapeartist!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Stop fighting with me.....

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hardy isnt a Lord Dan.......

Hardy was the underling of a very famous Lord who was the origin of the first part of the riddle

    ReplyDelete
  44. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Laurel might be asking a question for this as a result....and a Lord might, with a blind i might ask it.....(and I am sure I have given too much away)

    ReplyDelete
  46. RSA

Better delete that comment, it has the answer and jon will be cross

    *rolls eyes*

    ReplyDelete
  47. gee...well...that was an accidental spoiler...but the answer has been given....

    ReplyDelete
  48. I...I still don't get it. I don't know what I have to type! I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. The text box doesn't allow enough characters to put in a whole quote. It must be a name, but I don't know who Thomas Hardy was an "underling" to, and I don't know what else to type. I put in Thomas Hardy and it said "You're almost there. What do 6699 symbolize?" and I figured it's quotes, or quote. But that doesn't do anything.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I don't get cross....I like fun! Try to enjoy the game...it is great! (but you will hate level 20!)

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh crap! Sorry! Had tried everything EXCEPT that phrase.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Dan its a quote of three words

    ReplyDelete
  52. Well I got it from RSA's comment, thankfully, because I never would have figured that out. Ever.

Okay, so now I'm stuck on the Stabilise one. Help?

    ReplyDelete
  53. DanManX

Its not a name. It is what he said to Thomas.
Look at what Hardy is doing and then imagine what Laurl would have had to say to get him to do it

    ReplyDelete
  54. Well thats the one I need help on too Dan......

I cannot make out the animation at all so will need some clues please......

    ReplyDelete
  55. Thank you escapeartist! I should've guessed that.

    ReplyDelete
  56. escapeartist, I can make out the animation, but it doesn't help. The letters will periodically change into symbols for a brief moment. I tried arranging the symbols on the spots according to the order they appear in the word. Didn't work. Then I tried doing it in the order that the letters change. Nothing.
I even just tried based on how many lines each shape had. Also didn't work. I don't get it. There is no answer, unless someone can prove me wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  57. For Stablise, you can drag the balls to the letters and then to the top.
Do we have to get them in any particular order?

    ReplyDelete
  58. stabilise....the letters become symbols.....anagram...then place....

    ReplyDelete
  59. I dont get it either Dan

I did a hint up ^^ about the order I had tried but no luck....

    ReplyDelete
  60. the words into each level give a little something....in this case.....explosive....

    ReplyDelete
  61. stabilize: every letter has got a certain symbol...find out the letters for the symbols on the ball and you get an anagram

    ReplyDelete
  62. OMG I got the word......

    PUre fluke I tell you

    ReplyDelete
  63. Okay escapeartist, I got it. I'm gonna try to remember the order for you but...I may not. :\

And just so I don't give the full answer, I'll do it by number of lines in the shape:

    4, 6, 1, 3, 2

    ReplyDelete
  64. Okay. Got it.

There are 5 letters in the word (what an explosive does) and you have to put the symbols in the order that those letters go

the letter R doesn't feature but, if it did, and it was represented by an X and that was the third letter then the X ball would go in the third slot at the top

    Does that make any sense?

    ReplyDelete
  65. LMAO the second part of that one was a piece of cake!!!

    ONwards!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Now I'm stuck at the next one. The "chapter" is "Be careful what you wish for." There is the word MIDAS and then a place to enter 4 numbers. Now, the numbers are gold when you see them, and Midas was the king who wished everything he touched would turn to gold. So the number must have something to do with that.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I had thought so too Dan but O is a letter that is greater than 9

    So it cant be gold

    ReplyDelete
  68. Well I aint too sure if its so easy. Thought that B may stand for bottom but it doesn't

    ReplyDelete
  69. @escapeartist I got the 1st part but I can't get the second part. Clue please?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Oh POP
    Nevermind. Read the words
    sheesh - blond morning

    ReplyDelete
  71. put your finger on it....then hold............

    ReplyDelete
  72. I GOT IT!

There's a fingerprint on the M. That should give you a hint what to do (if not, just imagine if you found something gold, what would you do? Just let it sit there all dirty?)

That will reveal a hint on the wall. Say that hint out loud until it sounds like something.

Put in that number (it is NOT 4 numbers) and then type in what that number represents.

    ReplyDelete
  73. The DIRECTION you have to click is in the WORD.......

you have to click left right up or down.... dont you???

    ReplyDelete
  74. Well done Dan!

    Didnt even see the fingerprint.

    Got the numbers.. but

    B---
    S--
    A---t

    didnt work....

Perhaps I better try a martini

    ReplyDelete
  75. Just type his name, escapeartist

    ReplyDelete
  76. Hmm tried that too Dan

Do I need one of the actors or the character?

    *tries an actor*

    ReplyDelete
  77. Anyway, I'm stuck again at the next one.

"Which Russian cult had no members?" There is a dotted line box around it, with a symbol of scissors on it, implying it can be cut out. I have found no place to click though. There's a text box to enter an answer.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Have tried character first name
    First and last name
    last name

    capitals and without caps

    space and no space

    Wtf am I missing LOL

    ReplyDelete
  79. take it literally......

    ReplyDelete
  80. escapeartist, think shirley bassey!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. escapeartist, just put J---- B--- That's what worked for me.

    ReplyDelete
  82. TY JAZZY!!!!!!

Dan I think you got off lightly pal.... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  83. escapeartist

The song about the word on the wall came from which movie that features that charactor?

    ReplyDelete
  84. OH! Oh God I'm sorry. I was wrong. It wasn't the character name. It's the name of one of his villains. A villain with sort of a reverse Midas touch...

    God I'm tired right now...

    ReplyDelete
  85. No probs. That's probably the only one I'll be able to help you with lol. I'm stuck on the russian cult question.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I'm stuck on the Russian cult one too. I don't have any idea where to start. I tried typing "cut" and "cut the box" and all that. Nothing. I WILL NOT be Googling Russian cults on the chance that this is an actual thing. If you need to get outside information, it's not actually a riddle (one of the reasons I don't play most "change the url" games, as they require looking in the source and doing all sorts of other stupid and annoying things).

    ReplyDelete
  87. Well who would have thought that russian eunuchs had to register !?!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Dan

google russian cult and then the word that happens to eunichs.....

    ReplyDelete
  89. I googled the actual question but got nothing

    ReplyDelete
  90. Eunichs get 'nothing' as well

    *snorts*

    ReplyDelete
  91. just google what you have......Russian, cult, eunuch.....the answer is there....

    ReplyDelete
  92. On the puppy one. It isn't about the Canadian Maple and it isn't about the Labrador . Well It doesn't appear to be

    ReplyDelete
  93. Hmm a puppy with a canadian maple leaf on its collar and whos its closet relative......

    ReplyDelete
  94. Labradors have another name ;)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Ive tried the four neighbouring coutries as well

    But Nope

    ReplyDelete
  96. Figured out the dog one. The dog is a yellow lab, or a Labrador. It has a Canadian maple leaf on its collar. Canada. Labrador. Closest neighbor.

    Geography fans will get it.

    ReplyDelete
  97. aah, Its another name for the breed of the puppy

    ReplyDelete
  98. I got the one after that too. Blue Movie. What movie featured blue things? Very famous. Made LOTS of money.

I am stuck, however, on the tablet one. I don't even have a clue.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Why isnt retriever working?

    ReplyDelete
  100. LMAO Ok I got it....

    Onwards again

    ReplyDelete
  101. Cause that's not the answer, escapeartist.

Look at a map of Canada. Find Labrador. Now find the closest province to it.
(If you know dog breeds, there is a breed with the same name, but I think it's safe to assume most people are NOT experts on such things. :P )

    ReplyDelete
  102. Can't get the order of the cards right

    ReplyDelete
  103. Oh ffs who can remember the "explosion" shapes this far on.....

    *kicks someone*

    ReplyDelete
  104. That's not the order you need, escapeartist.

THIS is where you need the number of lines in each shape. Smallest to largest.

    ReplyDelete
  105. (Except the star. The star is considered less than the hexagon, just so there's no confusion)

    ReplyDelete
  106. Smallest to largest doesn't work for me - unless 0 has the most lines?

    ReplyDelete
  107. Oh. Its the last two that are swapped around

    ReplyDelete
  108. O is made up of one continous line .....

    ReplyDelete
  109. escapeartist, it's not another country. It's a part of the same country. Think of a large breed of dog

    ReplyDelete
  110. Hmm the tablet one isnt runes either

    ReplyDelete
  111. Alright, I'm making headway on the tablet.

In three of the corners are things you can drag. Line them up so they fit around the symbol in the middle of the tablet and then take the letters revealed by the holes. The anagram of that is what you write (Hint: the tablets have been stolen from their ruins, and someone who messes up a building is called a ______)

Then you get 6 red numbers, with a red dot in between.
I don't know what this means yet.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Well, I didn't Google it on purpose, but Google provided the answer: those are the years of the life of a famous king of the people the anagram gave us

    ReplyDelete
  113. Was just about to post that dan!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Next one is strange. A series of pictures, with the word "SOLVE" in the middle. Each letter of SOLVE is a different color. Clicking each color and then clicking the pictures will put a border of that color on the picture.

I tried matching them to what (at least to me) was the most prominent color in each picture, but that's either not it, or I can't figure the colors correctly. So I'm stuck.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Thanks
Took a bit of fiddling with the hessian pieces but wouldn't have even found them if you hadn't mentioned them

    ReplyDelete
  116. On a whim, I thought maybe it maybe was the first letter of each word in the picture, and then match the colors, but I don't think that's it. So I tried to match other things. Like O for orchestra was easy, S for shoe and snail. But I thought maybe O for oar, like the guy in the canoe? And e for equine, the horse?

Can't figure that out either though.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I presume that we have to get two pictures for each colour but that is difficult

    ReplyDelete
  118. Yeah, I can't figure it out. And I'm beat, so I have to go to sleep. Sorry everyone. Hopefully someone can figure it out by tomorrow for me! :P

    ReplyDelete
  119. heres some hints for 11

    http://www.gamershood.com/forum/showthread.php?33191-The-Cow/page5

    Seems there are 5x2 pairs

and its to do with the colour

    ReplyDelete
  120. And it appears that the pictures match up as pairs..

Trying to sort out an order

    ReplyDelete
  121. Am I on the right track by putting together Horse and Shoe?

    ReplyDelete
  122. rsa escape and dan did you speak to granmaa

    ReplyDelete
  123. lvl 1: On a wiki page of a musical band. Tried to make connection of it's name and track lists with Periodic table but nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Naught level one is a play on words, the element is wrong but looks like a common word so name the element that you see to make a common phrase.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Thanks. So I need to try granmaa or poetry.
    Oh my !!
At least my species of snail should be right. Now I just need to figure out what words to use for the rest of the things

    ReplyDelete
  126. Oh you clever people :) That worked with the granmaa just beautifully

    ReplyDelete
  127. RSA I am still completed perplexed, help please?

    ReplyDelete
  128. Hi clever people! It looks like I won't be able to join you today... Stuck on lvl 1 and good thinking... :(

    ReplyDelete
  129. Number one is a common phrase It is the "element".

    ReplyDelete
  130. Lizard

The thing you use to change channels on the tv is a R......
Put that into an anagram solver and you will get the name of the thing that is crashing towards earth in the other photo.

    ReplyDelete
  131. ah ok

Do the colors matter at all?

    ReplyDelete
  132. al sal

What common expression would be on a table of Elements and called Surprisium?

    ReplyDelete
  133. Na. colours are irrelevant as long as the two that match have the same colour

    ReplyDelete
  134. I know all the films and I know when they were made. They don't go in the order of release (either back or forward).

    ReplyDelete
  135. I can only name 3 of the films trying to figure out the rest

    ReplyDelete
  136. I think they are alphabetical if I can get the last two movies

    ReplyDelete
  137. Am I allowed to give the names of the films?

    ReplyDelete
  138. I have D*** O* T******, E*******, F**** E*****, G*** W*** T** W***

    ReplyDelete
  139. Nope. Not alphabetical. Maybe oscar nominations?

    ReplyDelete
  140. The hint given on the other site was write them all down and see what they have in common.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Oh toss it. If someone complains I will delete this

    Days of thunder 1990
    Independence Day 1996
    Entrapment 1999
    Girl Interrupted 1996
    Gone With The Wind 1939
    Enter the Dragon 1973

    ReplyDelete
  142. Not Girl Interrupted it is The Fifth Element

    ReplyDelete
  143. Thanks Lizard - doesn't help much at this point though. Have you any clues?

    ReplyDelete
  144. I wrote them all down, tried order they were made and alphabetical. Trying to see what goes together.

    ReplyDelete
  145. I tried counting the letters in the titles, can you give me a direction to go in Jon?

    ReplyDelete
  146. See the names.. starts and ends

    ReplyDelete
  147. Brilliant, thanks! RSA got it, are you still trying?

    ReplyDelete
  148. Ok now stuck on the second half of twelve, got the person but what are they looking for in the second half?

    ReplyDelete
  149. Sorry not 12, 13 I think. The chart.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Okay back from burning the rice and still no closer to figuring out the cinema one. Tried anagramming everything in sight but can't see it

    ReplyDelete
  151. Can someone please tell me what the picture is on the top line 2nd from left on puzzle 11. Looks like comet??? Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  152. jazzypix321

    Yes it is, kind of.
If it comes to earth then we call it a M........

    ReplyDelete
  153. Thanks Momma, I thought so......Right so how do they connect? Really bugging me now. I just cannot do it

    ReplyDelete
  154. jazzypix321

If you put the name of the thing hurtling towards earth into an anagram solver, it will give you a word which is one of the other pictures (think the thing to change channels on the TV)

    ReplyDelete
  155. For the cinema one - is it the name of a movie?

    ReplyDelete
  156. Don't know if I'm dre but I am definately dreadfully tired of looking at these 6 pictures

    ReplyDelete
  157. same here man

    ReplyDelete
  160. Read the names where does it start..

    ReplyDelete
  161. Got it now. Thanks Faltu. For those who need more hints. see that the first three letters of the first movie match the last three letters of the second movie. etc.. when in doubt, always start with the red head!

    ReplyDelete
  162. Ugh, I am STUCK on lvl 1. I've tried entering the correct element but it says say what you see. I have no idea what that means. Help?

    ReplyDelete
  163. Level 1 is a play on words.
