  40. I've got dough, glass and powdered milk. No blueberries or red juice. Where do I get that? I don't see any more clues for any of the other puzzles yet.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Red juice - put empty glass under machine to right of blender and push button

    ReplyDelete
  42. Blueberries - from cupboard directly under the juicer. Three color code you get by combining beaker colors with red (liquid)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thank you, Janet. I was trying to put the glass on the wrong side of the juicer lol.

    ReplyDelete
  44. @bandytrc
Well not being color-blind doesn't mean one can solve the game with a 100% probability ;)

    I jumped the gun again.
I can't believe I was in "Tesshi-e mode" again, trying to guess the colors from CMYK coloring system without pouring them in first...

Then when I knew how to attach the glass to the juicer, everything fell into place...

    ReplyDelete
  45. add. note: if the rightmost beaker contained a cyan-colored liquid (as it looked to me), cyan + red would have given white. (not available)

    ReplyDelete
  46. OK, so I have a glass, I have a functioning tap - and I can't make a glass of water?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Like Miles said:
"You can't put water in the glass until you pour the red juice in the beakers first."

    And like Janet said:
"Red juice - put empty glass under machine to right of blender and push button"

Then it was using that glass of red juice to get the 3 colour code and after that the (now again empty) glass can be used on the tap to get water.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yep that was a tough one cause if you figure out the color and letter box by not using the red juice (like I did too), you wander around wondering why you can't fill the %#$& glass with water.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Janet we old-timers are simply used to more difficult puzzles, where you have to "mix colors in your mind" ;) (as well as assemble torn sheets of papers)

    ReplyDelete
  50. great as always... a bit late, but couldn't miss this one!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Since when did red and green make purple?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. it's juices, not colours 😉 - I wondered & asked AI (cit):
Red + green juice = purple?
      - Red: often made from berries (raspberry, strawberry, cherry), grapes or red turnip.
      - Green: Often made from apple, kiwi, cucumber, spinach or kale.
If you mix red juice with green juice, the result can sometimes seem purple or purple if:
      - The red juice has strong blue/purple hues (e.g. from black currants, blueberries, or grapes with dark red).
      - The green juice is rather yellowish-green (e.g. apple or cucumber), so the green is not too dominant.
Examples of fruit juices that can give purple:
      - Red juice (for purple) Green juice (for balance) Result
      - Blackcurrant Green Apple Purple/Violet
      - Red grape (dark) Kiwi or green apple Purple
      - Red berry mix (with blueberries) Cucumber or apple Purple to purple
      - Beetroot (with a little strawberry) Green apple or spinach Dark Purple

      QED 👍👸💪
