ReplyDeletetake back barrel
ReplyDeleteah, prepared wood as «wheels»
ReplyDeletebtw, although you made a hole into barrel, you can use it anyway (at least at the same spot)
ReplyDeleteasking myself now, what the moving lever behind stone block caused...
seems to be too early for Europe (was already awake at 6 AM...!) & too late for U.S. as nobody else is here (at least not posting)...
ReplyDeletestill no progress - seems I missed a spot somewhere...
ReplyDeletebtw, it's still «kye» ☻
it's getting a bit annoying now to check everywhere as they are no hotspots showing...
ReplyDeleteI never had a problem loading these games in FF. Wont load in FF, Safari or Chrome. Bummer.
ReplyDeleteIs it just for me or the game is not adjusted to the screen? A fraction of the bottom is missing (playing on Chrome and tested in IE as well).
ReplyDeleteAlso, I can't seem to do be able to do anything, but that's probably me stuck :D
FINALLY!!!
ReplyDeletein my desperation, I tried to saw the window bars & suddenly a key on a chain showed up
didn't notice such issue in my game, Nini...
ReplyDeleteHINT after getting key on chain:
«if the mountain won't come to Muhammad, Muhammad must go to the mountain» ☻
OK... while clicking randomly near the cut out part of my game I found a cloth.. great. Maybe this will work after all.
ReplyDeletethe knives & forks hint was a challenge for my spatial orientation ☻

ReplyDeleteGreat game.
ReplyDeleteHow to arrange NEWS?
ReplyDeletesauliukas
ReplyDeletelook which direction is North (weathercock), then look at the 4 tiles on border & adjust them accordingly on puzzle as per compass directions N-E-W-S
amazing game.. Thanks
ReplyDeletestill cannot figure out the knife/fork clue. i tried it using the ones on the table/pattern, then the ones missing
ReplyDeletethaihoney
ReplyDeleteI gave a hint at 12:10 AM
how the items are placed on table
1=knife, 2=fork
you have to click on the placed box to see the order
note that box is upside down compared to the table (centre arrangement at top of table / bottom of box)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the hints Alpha and Nini - I got lost several times. And thanks Neat - great game.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice scenery!
ReplyDeleteWhere's the chess room? I've done the knife/fork puzzle and pulled a lever in that room, but now I don't know where to go!
ReplyDeleteIorwen To open the chess room: there is a second lever under the crate in the barrel room. roll it out of the way with the cut wood logs.
ReplyDeletethank you finnder
ReplyDeleteAlpha and Nini are quite the team.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best games I've played in a long time. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteMy goodness, that was a long one!
ReplyDeleteGet "502 Bad Gateway"
ReplyDeleteA few pixel hunts in this one, and the frustrating trick of things moving in other rooms when you do something somewhere else. Somehow I opened the pawn statue, I think after putting the Q in the middle box and pressing somewhere in that screen (Maybe after doing something else first since nothing happened the first time I placed the queen?). Frustrating game. Also, behind the big stone block was a very dark lever that I guess I pulled and never knew it.
ReplyDeleteVery good ending.
ReplyDeleteRed herrings: The six knights mean absolutely nothing other than telling you what a rook and bishop are if you are unfamiliar with chess. Have no idea what the QoK Kok hint was.
ReplyDeleteFinal hint: do not rotate the tiles for the NEWS puzzle, just use them as they are shown when zoomed.
ReplyDeletei only have a torch and stuck....
ReplyDeletePete. Go upstairs into dark room.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great game! Of course I needed a few hints (this is one of these games which need more than one clever mind) but among all this daily average stuff this game was a pearl in the shell. Worth a Tesshie or even a Neutral.
ReplyDeleteThank you guys for leaving some valuable hints, especially Alpha and Nini, would have liked to join you live.
At least I might leave another hint: If you don't know how to escape in final scene, use an item for a third time (took me about an hour to find it again).

ReplyDeleteTough one, but most satisfying.
ReplyDeleteI would NEVER have made it out without the hints so cheers. I nearly gave up at the rook and bishop game, I forgot to click ok on the Q&K box and could not for the life of me get the pic of the chess board up and couldn't go any further. It was SO frustrating. Apart from the it was an excellent game.
