Yo! Need a walkthrough or someone to help with the maths/book clue. Pretty please? I've spent so much time trying to figure out the logic or what it's about. :-(
ReplyDeleteHere's how I figured it out: 360 degrees divided by 12 hours (as on a round clock face) means 30 degrees equals one hour. Divide 231degrees by 30, which gives you 7.7 hours. So, in military time, 7PM equals 1900 hours, multiply .7 times 60 minutes which give you 42 minutes, added to 1900 equals the number code for the safe.
DeleteIt refers to a clock. The number on the left is the angle between the hands, the number on the right is the time, in 24 hour format. Red is PM, blue is AM.

ReplyDeleteOK, now I'm stuck with a rubik's cube item, the letter box upstairs and no clue as to deal with the snowmen on the painting and outside the window.
ReplyDeleteI've realized the snowmen in the frame spell "merry" (the 3rd and 4th snowmen are the same; therefore the same letter). That means the snowmen outside are spelling something, but I have yet to figure out what it is. It's not "snowman" or "snowmen"; it's not "present" and it's not "outside" (I just guessed those ones; I have no idea what the remaining letters are. The buttons correspond to each letter in the alphabet; I just don't know which ones).

DeleteI got the ending, but I don't think I ever solved the bear and letter clues.
ReplyDeleteThe bear clue is solved once you run the letter over the fire, then certain card suits appear on the ends of certain sentences. I didn't figure it out, just randomly tried tossing the letter in the fire. Then you can count the letters from the left in each highlighted sentence to get the letter drawer solution. It's something that is given on the holiday.
