Red X for this one. As expected,(like all Forgotton Hill games), this one was constantly interrupted by extremely frequent advertisements. It was just too aggrevating to justify further gameplay.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the first half of this game, but I was unable to complete it due to the difficulty of some of the puzzles. The rotating table with the marbles was frustrating, not fun. After I struggled to finish that one, I then encountered the rotating circle sections that was also zero fun. I gave up.
ReplyDeleteI used an adblocker so I didn't have any issues. I understand game sites need ads for revenue, but if they interfere with gameplay, then I am going to block.
I would have rated this game 5 stars if not for the 2 difficult, no-fun factor puzzles. A "skip" button would have been great for some of the puzzles.
I know some players have the skill to do these puzzles, but I'm not one of them. So it's 3 stars for me for what I was able to do.

DeleteI gave up after reaching the picture puzzle with 3 spinning wheels. They really need to implement a skip option, even if it means watching a couple of ads.

EG24 - Many thanks for your response. I understand and appreciate the need for ads as a funding source for the games we love, and this is fine. But Forgotten Hill games are the only ones where the ads actually interrupt the game itself, and this is most definitely not OK, at least for me. This is just a comment - I also understand that the ads are not under your control.

We sent an email to developers about this and we hope they will see these comments and at least decrease amount of ads in their games. Then more players will play their games and they won't have to enable their ad blocker.
