ReplyDeleteIt's good to compare now that we have both old and new MGH games here. New games are significantly easier than the older ones, but that's not a problem, they are always fun. Most of the escape games are boring because of the lack of fantasy, there are no stories, and the puzzles are always the same, but MGH has always a brand new story, and puzzles that are different from the previous ones. Not many escape game creators are like this, but there are some exceptional talents, e.g. Tomolasido, who has always the same house with the same WC (or the soda can in other games), but very different puzzles, you never know what to expect. But for the sake of style and consistency it's necessary that there are also recurring elements like little monkeys or toilets. It's like a signature.
