Had to click the HINT button on the cash register. Clue makes NO sense. I give up. I only had to restart twice, as well, so the game was great up to that point. ☹️

DeleteGot it. The number on the hint is the order that you place the lever. First, put the lever at the bottom, then go up one and put the lever at the second from the bottom, and so on. If you number the "tick" marks from the top as 1, 2, START, 3, 4, then the solution is 4, 3, 4, Start, 1. I hope I explained that clearly enough.
