Just writing the WT Clio

Aw crap...where is the WT????
I don't even understand the first good clue!!!!

Nacka 9/19/11 12:37 AM
the sum of the numbers, divide for 3

So, does that mean to add the 5 4digit numbers I found with the symbols?..and divide by what????
does @nacka mean, by 3, or for the 3 digit code?
Then everyone else is off and running and no more reference to that nor where to use the spade key!!! I don't want to keep reading because it will spoil the game!!!!! Arrrgggghhhh !! LOL

WOW!!! TY @leroy!!!
I'll look forward to it!
I didn't see your post, as it turned over to the 200+ page ....lolol

yay out! Just needed help with how to determine the symbols code. Thank you Tesshi-e!!! Another great escape :)

I wish somebody could just get me started....
I have the card 4digits...the other 5 4digits... and a spade key...
Please???? I have no ideas!!!!

Okay...I'll be back!!!! Going to Tuscany, now!!!!!

Got key, card (with#) and understand the examples. Where to put in a number (someone mentioned unit(??))? Only see picture that moves, blue hexagon, door screws, and a door and cupboard that do not open. Is it a pixel hunt? Walkthru would be helpful, hate to read spoiler comments about further in game...

You add the three numbers that the symbols represent, and then divide the answer by 3 for the code.

Found the brown item on the bookshelf. Now I'll get somewhere...

The smiley code is under the lid of the tea set on the table, the cross code is on a cabinet and the moon/star code is in a little lamp on the floor that you have to open.

is somebody going to write a WT? That would be fantastic as I am totally lost despite the comments ...

Hi guys, thanks for all the hints, would NEVER have made it out without them all. I didn't make any holes in the water bottle though, was I ment to?

Thanks, Leroy! I got the numbers but I´m stuck at other point. Will wait for you!

Is this still live? I'm stuck with a full kettle, a full water bottle (with no holes), and a key card unused. Where is the card reader, and what do I do with the water?

Forgive me LOL I meant find the 4 digit codes for all 5 symbols. Then use as per book hint.
So that meant (I dont really know wht) for the code box on the tall stand add the numbers and divide by 3...

Nevermind - opened the other door, I thought I tried that. The tank needs more water

Jo.C LOL you obviously read the comments but you missed turning left at the exit door...

Out - but no happy coin... oh well

LOL miles see previous comment so I will now go back to the WT...

lol Leroy, oh well it took me long enough so I will just settle for the way I got out! :)

thank you all for the very helpful comments... I really needed them in this great game...
but I still have one problem... I have the new code for the happy coin, but I don't know where to put in... I thought it has to be the machine where we put in the first code from the signs, but this doesn't work...
can you see the clouds above my head?

Thank you Leroy for the end of the game. I feel stupid, I should have guessed this !

Sabine if you are still there LOL put in in the exit door codebox.

OH NO... Leroy... please... call me very stupid...
I'd never thought about this... I tried to put it in the water-bird-thing, too...
and I controlled my math 1'876 times...
thanks so much for giving me the enlightenment...
now I'm out WITH happiness... (and laughing very much)

Well, I had clicked my fingers to the bone!!!!
And the view to the codebox and the book on that tall shelf had eluded me the first time around!!!
I don't remember these games being so pixelly, but it is probably just me...lol

That was quite an adventure!!!! Loved it...out with Happy Coin!!!
Aside from the initial pixelhunt...all the clues were there and I needed them all!!!!
Thanks @all the great players here!!!!!

Ummmmmmmmmmmm, that walkthrough would be nice? Hint-hint.

I have gold ball, opened fridg, can not get what corners to click for picture. Do not have key for locked box.

I will go thru and read comments again, but it looked like a big chunck was skipped as people found answers on their own.....

Gayle: I had trouble with figuring out how to do the picture too, you have to use the clue on the tv and the clue on the lamp once you put the lit candle in it. Combine those two clues for how to do the picture. Look at the colors of the corners of the lamp, and you hit those colors in the order of the colors, from left to right, from the clue in the tv, (you have to change the channels to channel 4, I think.

And I know how you feel when people are first playing the game fast and furious - all they want to do is get out, so they don't leave too many hints. I usually find that the better hints come later on when other people start playing and asking questions, and giving hints once the "urgency" to get out has died down.

Ah, I finally got the DRIB number, DAH! I should know better! I think to literally sometimes!

Is there a clue as to which balls we keep? The machine in the potty only holds 3 balls?? And I don't THINK I have seen any clues for it, but that means nothing LOL! Oh, I'll wander around a bit more, I should be cleaning the house!

You keep the glass, stone and gold balls...not the pink one. The balls change when you put them through the machine, so you have to "about item" them to see what you've got....

4- glass
1- gold
3- stone

       Anonymous  9/19/11, 12:27 PM

Oh, and thank you Zoe! :D

There are two machines - the one in the potty, and one behind the cabinet that has wire wrapped around it. You have to get the wire cutter to open that cabinet, and that's where you put the balls before you put them in the machine in the potty...hope that makes sense.

I'm happy to help. I'm terrible at writing WT's. I just mess everyone up even more than they already are :-|

       Anonymous  9/19/11, 12:47 PM

Yeah, I get where to put them, I'm just wondering where the clue is that tells ya which balls to keep and put into the machine. I may not be looking hard enough, IDK. I am trying to clean house AND play the game, I'm a little distracted! Neither one is getting done very well! LOL

@Zoe
The smiley code is under the lid of the tea set on the table

Late thanks Zoe! :)
I had not found that spot, and gotten the code by simple math:

(x + 7152 + 3891) / 3 = 5487

which will say that smileyface = SPO5IL4E1R8

ESCAPE HOTEL 4 -- HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS WITHOUT SPOILERS
SYMBOL SAFE
The symbol clue is
SMILEY, FLAG, CROSS = 5487
FLAG, STAR, CRESCENT = 7330
Substituting numbers for symbols:
5418, 7152, 3891 = 5487
7152, 9564, 5274 = 7330
The solution is to average the numbers (sum them and divide by 3)

The lock is clued SMILEY, CROSS, CRESCENT
(5418+3891+5274) / 3
Enter the number and put your room key in the slot to open the drawer.

HEXAGON LOCK
When you click the colored hexagons, each one has only 9 digits.
Use the missing digit to open the lock.

BIRD NUMBERS
The BIRD CLUE is BIRD=5163
Note the letters above where you enter the numbers: DRIB
So, enter the digits backwards: 1st digit in the 4th position, 2nd digit in the 3rd position, etc.

FUJI PICTURE
-The colored stars clue gives you the colors of the corners.
Blue Red
Green Yellow
-The TV Star and stripes gives you the sequence in which to press the corners (BGGRGRY)

BALL NUMBERS
-The easiest combinations are:
Blue + Gold = 3 so blue and gold are 1 and 2 in some order
Gold + Stone = 4 so gold and stone are either 1 and 3 or 2 and 2
But blue and stone = 5 so stone = 3, blue =2, gold = 1
You can now easily determine the values for pink and glass.

ROOM NUMBER
- Look at your key

HAPPY KEY
-Compute your number as for the SYMBOL SAFE
(SMILEY + CROSS + STAR) /3 = (5418+3891+9564)/3
-Enter it at the exit door (green gift symbols).
