ReplyDeleteI'm lost!
ReplyDeleteHey all, lets go...
ReplyDeleteanybody figured out anything yet
ReplyDeletei tried numbers based on the grids below, but nada.
ReplyDeleteYAY after 2 days without play, I'm in, leeet's plaay
ReplyDeleteof course, all it's clear now that I see the game O.o
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the letters stand for Lithium, Carbon, Hydrogen, and Berylium, but not sure what to with the information. The number sets and grids look related, but not sure about the top characters.
ReplyDeleteOK, I'm really oouut
ReplyDeleteof the game, I'm giving up
lol
give up
ReplyDeletei was scared of this one from the pic. i was right to be. too hard!
ReplyDeletei'm stuck... maybe the last grids 8162 but doesn't work...
ReplyDeleteOMG spike ur a genius
ReplyDeleteatomic number 3 lithium
ReplyDeleteatomic number 6 carbon
atomic number 1 hydrogen
atomic number 4 beryllium
????????????????
there is someone?
ReplyDeleteGood work, Flora. I was too lazy to look them up! The fact that they're all 6 or under means that's probably the right numbers. I would guess we get a number for each tier of the puzzle and then somehow combine them to get the number to input at the top.
ReplyDeleteThe third set could be 8162, or you might have to use the numbers above the grids to guide you. Not sure.
spike... I am totally stuck...
ReplyDeletethe first could be (it's seems) 7 or 4 - 8 - ? - 2 or 5
ReplyDeletethe second... i've no idea
third 8162
the last 3614
Yeah, I'm stuck too. So far the light switch doesn't help either. Maybe the balls light up once you get the numbers right.
ReplyDeleteI think the second line is a connect the dots puzzle. If you follow the digits, you get 6, 5, 1 and 2.
ReplyDeletelooks like connect the dots
ReplyDelete6512
I thought I was onto something with the symbol tier, if you look at the screen and cock your head to the right, the last symbol is a 5. Not sure about the others though.
ReplyDeleteyes probably it is...
ReplyDeleteso:
first ?
second 6512
third 8162
last 3614
if it is, in second, third, last lines we have always 61.... but what we are talking about? :)
I don't know, but it feels like progress!
ReplyDeleteI thought maybe it was cross out any number repeated, use what's left. But I can't work it out not knowing the first line.
ReplyDeleteThere's surely some significance between the order of the colours of the numbers and the colours of the balls.
ReplyDeletethe sum of each lines except the first (that I ignore)
ReplyDeleteis 585 ?
Are we settled on the fact that we need to produce 4 sets of 4 digit numbers? If so where would that get us?
ReplyDeleteThis is madness.
Where's Diana when you need her...
may be the first line have something with the balls
ReplyDeletewhat is up with this frigging game ! makes me want to poke something up the butts of the makers !
ReplyDeleteAbout the colour of the balls and number keypad. My 'purple' ball - the second one - is more of a dark plum colour than pure purple. Perhaps there's no significance, or it may be the graphics card on my computer playing up. This game is driving me mad. Grrrr
ReplyDeleterambler, it's not your computer, my purple ball looks like red
ReplyDeletethe purple is different for me also
ReplyDeleteif you look quite good, you can note that the lines are written in the same color as the balls (I know that I don't know how to speak english very well)
ReplyDeleteluly, you've right! but we must to sum the number or...?
ReplyDeleteLuly, I'm not sure that you're right. The lines are all the same colour to me.
ReplyDeleteUnless we're at cross purposes.
Otherwise, I'm still bemused by this one. It's a killer :-(
i must let's go out with my dog. good luck!
ReplyDeletefor what is the light?? you can turn it on and off
ReplyDeleteRight, I've had enough of this, pixel hunts are more enjoyable. I'm out of here. Good luck to you all, I'll check back later for the clever feckers solution...
ReplyDeleteI believe the 3rd row is based on a 10 key on keyboard, hence the long panel at bottom for 0. This would make those numbers 2768.
ReplyDeleteWhen you turn off the lights you can make out a grid to the right of the door. I would guess this comes into play once we put in the correct numbers.
ReplyDeleteSo we have the sequence for 3 of the 4 numbers and need to figure out the purple one. And then of course, what to do with them.
I'm wondering if the first group has something to do with the number of lines in the pictures, or corners, or something like that.
ReplyDeleteis anybody here?
ReplyDeleteI believe the first row are numbers written upright once and then 90 degrees sideways and half size. This makes the first one a 7. Not sure on rest.
ReplyDeleteOh this game is torture! Have know drawn shapes from line 1 in word to try and manipulate. I'll try anything at this stage!!!
ReplyDeletejust started but I see that the blocks for inputting code are the same colors as one of the lines of clues (rather than the balls) maybe it means we only need the first number of 2nd clue line for the green code #, etc.
ReplyDeleteFirst code = number of lines for each symbol
ReplyDelete4536
David
ReplyDeleteWhy 9746 ?
And out!!! cheers david - can you just let me know how you got the first line 4725 for the purple ball? It's been driving me mad
ReplyDeleteOf course!! Thanks David - that was so simple yet infuriatingly difficult at the same time. Wouldn't have got anywhere without that first line code ta :)
ReplyDeleteDang! Where's a screw driver when you need one? I'd like to poke myself in the brain. lol
ReplyDeletethis is a dumb question, but how do you input codes in this game? the only things i can click on are the light switch (on and off) and the numbers in coloured boxes.. but that's it..nothing happens when i click the balls, nothing happens when i click the grids on the walls, nothing happens when i click on the line patterns.. i'm not sure how everybody is figuring out these 4-digit codes from the grids, and i've no idea how to input the codes.. is there anyone there that can get past my stupidity and help me out?? thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteInput the code in colored boxes at the left of the door, after each code click the ball of that color on the floor
ReplyDeleteStrange game ... thanks David for the codes ... i dont understand this game.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand this game, i did it thanks to David. But I will like to know how he got the codes. Im so lost.
ReplyDeleteLine 1: note the number of *right angles* on each figure: 4, 7, 2, and 5. Enter this code and click the purple ball to present it, and again to pop it and see it morph into a 7. Purple = 7
ReplyDeleteLine 2: connect the dots for each figure, as others said, starting from 1 and counting up, and note what figures you end up tracing: 6, 5, 1, 2. Enter, click green ball to present it, click again and it moves to the upper right hand corner before flashing several colors; my only guess is that the upper right hand corner represents 9, as it does on a computer numberpad (NOT on a telephone!) Green = 9
Line 3: Again, the squares represent a *computer* numberpad, not a telephone: if you put your fingers on the highlighted spots, you're typing 2768. Enter this, click the blue ball to present it, then turn off the light (not sure why) and click it again; it splits into 4 pieces. Blue = 4
Line 4: Simple periodic table lookup: Lithium=3; Carbon=6; Hydrogen=1; Beryllium=4. Enter these at the top, present and pop the orange ball, and it traces a giant (relatively) figure 6 on the screen. Orange = 6
Enter the corresponding numbers on each colored pad now: Green, Purple, Blue, Orange = 9, 7, 4, 6. Click the doorknob.
One thing I forgot- when you connect the dots on line 2, you have to sing "CONNECT THE DOTS! LA LA LA LA LA!" like Pee-Wee Herman.
ReplyDeleteWhen you click on the green ball (with the right code) the ball moves to the upper right of the screen and flashes. If you click on it while it's flashing the ball disappears and this appears: n=2 i=1 e=1. At last I've figured out what this means: two N's, one I, and one E. In other words, NINE. (We already knew it was 9 but didn't know why!)
