ReplyDeleteMaria, combine the wood piece and the metal piece (from under the sink) to make a cross-shaped thing, then use it in the attic to open the big wardrobe and get door key. Then you can see the radio hint.

This was a really good game! Navigation is a little bit tricky, but there are no pixel-hunts, and the puzzles were solve-able. Clicking is straightforward, but you do have to hit some weird angles to get where you want to go. All in all, a well-made game that's fun to play.
ReplyDeleteI didn't want to 'spoil' it, because it really is worth figuring out on your own, so I've only done a hint-through for when/where you may find yourself stumped. Enjoy the game!
HINT-THROUGH:
Start at the dark cabinet at the left of the screen. open middle drawer for clue to your first code. It tells you how to use the blue & white entry pad on the cabinet.
FIRST CODE:
To find the letters and numbers throughout the room, which will tell you the code:
- behind sofa - on kitchen counter - on slider door - above the kitchen bar (from dining area view) - above the kitchen bar (looking into kitchen) - front of sofa - below the stereo - on ceiling light fixture (by black cabinet) - below kitchen sink
FIND OBJECTS;
- below stereo
- in corner of dining area
- hanging on dark cabinet in kitchen
- in kitchen, top red cabinet (use long stick to find it)
- top drawer of dark cabinet
SAFE inside dark cabinet (bottom right doors)
attach handle, insert objects, notice colors, close box to get key
COLOR BOX has key hidden underneath, and will give you another code. change all the colors to match the first color revealed in the matching safe. some boxes won't turn that color, so this will reveal the first number of the code. Then change all the colors to match the second color, and this will get the second number. Same for the third color
KEYS:
open 2 cabinets in kitchen, and patio door
PATIO:
pick up two objects (one to the left, and one below)
you can combine objects to get a longer stick
ATTIC:
opening in ceiling in front of door
check to the side of, and behind big box
use suction cup downstairs on coffee table
combine items to make handle for big box
ENDINGS:
1. take final key to door
2. check stereo for additional code, take coin and key to door
3. use coin as screwdriver on big box, use handle on wall

Ya know, feline, someone will probably be upset that it's not a full walkthrough. But I prefer the gentle nudges on these 'easier' games (I say easier only because you didn't need to be a genius to figure it out). This way, you can get the nudge you need without full-blown spoilers. (although there are times I definitely need the full spoiler treatment!)

@Justme...from front door turn right and you get a side view of the kitchen...a rod/cane is hanging from the dark cabinet..click and it should hop into your inventory. :) The locations where you find items can be a bit tricky Also, while you're in the kitchen click on frig to get close up view and you can click on cabinets above sink and a drawer below stovetop. Hope that helps a little.
ReplyDeleteIrish I have been in the view but no rod yet. Do you know exactly where to click on the dark cabinet, left or right side, middle? I have already gotten the ladder too and still have the suction thing in inventory as well as the wooden piece that went with the iron piece under kitchen cabinet. I cannot get a close up of the frigde either.

The wooden piece combined with the metal piece can be used on the safe in the attic...you are just about out! You get the key for the door from the safe in the attic. Before you go out the door, take a look at the stereo again and find the code for the happy coin. Enter the code on the cabinet where you entered code from "ABC" numbers. The happy coin can be used on the large screw on side of safe in attic and left safe door opens to reveal a wheel with a cross/plus sign on the end. Place in the corresponding sign in attic and you get a fun ending.

Back and right click left sliding door E.
Back and right twice to see outside the kitchen hatch A and ROUND piece.
Right (view table/sofa/windows)and down (first scene back of sofa) and left to kitchen. Get stick and D (top right).
Forward twice to hotplate, right F, right B under sink.
Back to view of kitchen and top cabinets and use stick to get PAWN piece.
You now have enough letters to get the code for the black cabinet. Get PINK KEY which you will use under the sink to get a STEEL ROD.
Back to black cabinet and use handle on the bottom cupboard. Place items and get SILVER KEY. Use this on the cupboard under the hotplate in the kitchen. Get GREEN KEY under box and complete the code (see comment 22) to get 3 numbers. Go to right sliding door and use green key and code. Exit and left to get STICK and combine with other stick to get LADDER below.
Re enter the house and click round to view door. Place ladder and go into the attic. Click left side of big box and left again to get SUCTION PAD, note circle on the side of the box.
Exit attic and use suction pad on coffee table to get WOODEN PEG and combine with the steel rod you found in the kitchen under the sink.

I also saw that the wooden thing combined with the iron wasn't working when I first tried to put it in the box upstairs, so thats what the problem was when I first played it.
