ReplyDeleteNeed help on level 11.

ReplyDeleteput them together
ReplyDeleteGot only one egg Donas.
ReplyDeleteWith smiled.
At whom did he smile?
ReplyDeleteI don't get chapter 2 :/ anyone?
ReplyDeleteAargh, have the other egg now and still no answer :(
ReplyDeleteMagalie,
ReplyDeleteDo the magnifier and see a country in those words (no anagram)
combine them
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
ReplyDeleteMagalie,
ReplyDeleteFor 2:
Click on the magnifying glass. What you need is in the middle of it.
Don't space out. ;)
Nvm again. Thanks Donas. It was egg 1 + egg 2
ReplyDeleteAny ideas for level 12?
ReplyDeletethe words around the star are numbers
ReplyDeleteHm, you mean one, two, five?
ReplyDeleteBut then?
0000
ReplyDelete0001
0010
0011
...
That, and google.
no, the words are cornish numbers
ReplyDeleteI hope you understand Itt's hint, I'm clueless
The words are numbers in Cornish.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't get an answer from basic conversion.
I get a word from the numbers, but it doesn't work
ReplyDeleteLol, same her Donas.
ReplyDeleteBut now we have to use the dots as well I think
I think so too. What about St. Pirran's banner (Cornish flag) and the key of twos?
ReplyDeleteHm, time to quit I think.
ReplyDeleteWondering what I'm doing here anyway. I thought I gave up on riddles :)
Lol, s-t, it's still early here
ReplyDeleteWhy would you give up on riddles?
ReplyDeleteLol, riddles make me feel dumb.
ReplyDeleteLol, but don't you feel smart when you get the right answer? I haven't been riddling long and I ask for help all the time, but sometimes I get them on my own and that feels great.
ReplyDeleteI reread the page, are we looking for a location?
ReplyDeleteNo idea Donas. English is not my first language, so already having problems with that.
ReplyDeleteBut way too much info for me.
The numbers we found, the numbers in the outer circle, the flag in the outer circle, the dots and something with freemasons.
There are two parts to this riddle. Google got you one of them.
ReplyDeleteBoth parts have five letters.
If the first part of my first hint doesn't look familiar, try googling it.
Thanks for all the help/hints Itt, but I still don't get it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, don't worry; it's me not you.
It's like they say; I'm always sunny, but not that bright.
Lol, two clichés in one post.
s-t, do the dots on the star represent binary code?
ReplyDeleteCould be Donas. In a way that's what Itt posted.
ReplyDeleteBut then again, binary is 8 digits and this is 5x4 digits!?
Sorry if my hints are vague. I am a beta tester for Creo, so I already know the answers. I try to watch and help when people are stuck, but really don't want to be *too* direct. Would kind of spoil it for everyone if I just sat here and hand fed answers. :)
ReplyDeleteSo, one more try...
There is a number system based upon 2. Ones and Zeroes. On and Off. True and False.
got it, it is binary
ReplyDelete0001 is the same as 00000001 ;)
ReplyDeleteI could use a strong clue for chapter 4 please
ReplyDeletepop, wow got it, chapter 4 I mean
ReplyDeleteLol, still don't get Level 12. But like I said before; don't mind me, having fun anyway (so, don't be sorry Itt. In fact; just ignore my posts).
ReplyDeleteKathy,
Pick first letter of first town, second letter from second town etc.)
s-t look at the dots on each arm of the star as 0 and 1. I used paulschou and put in each set of four to get a number, then granmaa. Use that word with the one from Cornish numbers
ReplyDeleteThanks Donas, got it.
ReplyDeletethsnks small too now stuck on that map on chap 6 ...where did thy go?
ReplyDeletekathy
ReplyDeleteTry a straight line
Look at that map Kathy,
ReplyDeleteThe carny goes South west from town to town. And the steps are all the same length.
So find the next.
level 13
ReplyDeleteI thought the magnifier highlighted the same type structure from level 7, then looked for pirates, no luck yet
ohh , thanks donna and small tool ,,,finally got 6
ReplyDeleteI have followed that goofy path on Chapter 8 so many times, I can't tell right from left anymore - and none of the words I thought it was has worked!! Any hints..??
ReplyDeleteDonas,
ReplyDeleteYou are on the right track.
"A journey to within"
Have you been there before?
LMBO... I thought your "A journey to within" was a hint for me @ Chapter 8, and it worked!!??
ReplyDeleteSue,
ReplyDeleteWatson's instructions are correct, if not complete. He may not have mentioned every twist and turn they made.
I was able to figure out the first, but then I would get lost. So, I worked backwards and was able to figure out the end.
From there, the path really is pretty straightforward.
And the word you find would be appropriate for a bunch of hoodlums.
Sue,
ReplyDeleteJust remember where you are at, it might come in handy later. ;)
ROFL, Sue
ReplyDeletei may have to quit playing soon if something doesn't start making sense soon ;)
ReplyDeletechapter 7 Help please...Need a name or clue how to figure it out...I dont get the clue.. old tin mine house, st agnes ?
Up to Chapter 10 now (Chapter 8 wasn't a term I'd heard before..) The puzzle box... are those symbols supposed to actually men something?
ReplyDeletekathy... the first letter of each word is an anagram for what they're looking for...
ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteI didn't bookmark the levels, so not realy sure, but I think it was granmaa with the first letters.
SueJ999,
If It's the level I think it is. Then yep, the symbols make sense, think (for some of them) Roman.
Sue
ReplyDeleteThink romans for 1st and last
Lol, s-t thought you were gone. Any ideas for 13?
ReplyDeleteThanks sue ....ugh that was too easy...oh my here I go to 9
ReplyDeleteHi Donas Just hit level 13 I also went back but can't tie in those letters yet to the other one I saw lol
ReplyDeleteHi Clee
ReplyDeletethe letters on 13 seem to match the other ones , we must be getting close lol
ReplyDeleteThank you Donas! So how do I get past the halfway note? URL changing time?
ReplyDeleteSue, yes make it say what you want to do
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteOops, sorry Donas. Just hanging around a bit here. Posting hints up till level 13, but I kind of gave up.
ReplyDeleteJust not my kind of riddle.
Anyway, good luck and have fun all players.
go to, proceed to, just chapter11... not liking that skull!!
ReplyDeleteSue remove something
ReplyDelete13.
ReplyDeleteIf you have already made a journey within, you know which way you are *not* going this time.
Go to were it says.
Along the way, don't go were it says not to go.
gotochapter11, proceedtochapter11, chapter11, chap11, gochapter11, proceedchapter11, tochapter11... ACK!! This is worse than the riddle parts!!
ReplyDeleteSueJ999,
ReplyDeleteJust delete a word from the URL.
Sue, did you read what the URL was before you started editing?
ReplyDeleteCompare it to what the text says. :)
finally on to 14
ReplyDeleteDUH!! Thanks!! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd I know why Holmes smiled, but precisely how do they want me to say it? Just a hint, of course... (feeling dumb right now as it is!!)
ReplyDeleteDarn my efforts didn't get me to 14 :-(
ReplyDeleteClee, are you using the map from a previous level to "go inside"?
ReplyDeleteYes Donas how many letters? nothing looks good yet lol
ReplyDelete8, and look on both sides
ReplyDeletelevel 14 must use the words around the edge since we already used the inside numbers
ReplyDeleteClee, reread my hint, it should be look on both sides of path
ReplyDeleteEveryone leave? I'm still not getting 11...
ReplyDeleteTried counting every 2nd letter for "rule of twos" and then applied the code and eliminated letters, added a letter from the banner, but nothing makes sense
ReplyDeleteSue, What did Holmes do in the end? Rearrange it.
ReplyDeleteOh how simple.. thank you Donas!
ReplyDeleteClee, are you working on 14, I'm out of ideas
ReplyDeleteItt, still around? Do you have a hint for 14?
ReplyDeleteI went in all sorts of wrong directions when I did this one, simply because I misinterpreted the magnifier hint the *first* time I read it.
ReplyDeleteIs it saying, "...(number) four" or is it saying "...four (of something)"?
But, of what?
Read it again...it tells you. ;) You just have to figure out which ones.
BTW, I'm off for the night. I've got to be up in 4 hours. :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your help Itt. Good night.
ReplyDeleteOne more hint....
ReplyDeletePut what is left with the other part and mix it up.
Trying to do that will help you pick what part to keep.

mmm why does everyone never get stuck where I do?
ReplyDeleteChapter 5 has me stuck. I thought the letters on the door were Hebrew but they aren't.
LOL
ReplyDeleteWho would have guessed that witches have their own alphabet!
guess everyone is in bed....or partying. Stuck on Chapter 11 Help?
ReplyDeleteok nite nite all
ReplyDeletestuck on 5 like Momma.. guess no one is here now :(
ReplyDeleteoh googled it!
ReplyDeleteI'm still here doll
ReplyDeleteOnly 9:37 am here :)
hi Momma.. am stuck on 6.. its 12:04pm here :)
ReplyDeleteHi :)
ReplyDeleteWhich one was 6?
Oh, the map.
ReplyDeleteThat one took long to figure out.
Look at the distances that they travel between venues (don't worry about the road turns) then look for a town on that line.
Will I get into trouble if I say that the town sounds like a nunnery?
LOL
ReplyDeleteJust figured out why 8 made no sense. I was trying to go in from the wrong direction!
Anyone know how many letters is in the password for level 8?
ReplyDeleteI thought I had it but I didn't
I need help on 4
ReplyDeleteIs 4 the list of areas in the town?
ReplyDeleteMomma Cyndi, 7 letters
ReplyDeleteThanks Unkown. No wonder I was not getting anywhere. I had it at only 6. Back to the drawing board.
ReplyDeleteNeed a clue to 11 if anyone out there
ReplyDeleteCan't for the life of me make a 7 letter word out of that path.
ReplyDeleteStart with first letter of maze and end with letter nearest entry to center
ReplyDeleteThanks Unknown.
ReplyDeleteGot it now. How obvious! A crook by any other name :)
I've no idea for level 3 (the town in Cornwall).
ReplyDeleteFinally got it, thanks to a map...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Small Tool.
ReplyDeleteRiddles make you feel really stoopid.
X/2 is 12
The eye of Horris
e-d
Now other than the first (and possibly second) letters, I'm just guessing at words
Cyndi, 4 letters You are missing one clue
ReplyDeleteaah yes, the 50
ReplyDeleteThink Roman numerals
ReplyDeleteEverybody seems to be far ahead, but I'm stuck at level 4...
ReplyDeleteWhich one is 4 Pascale?
ReplyDeleteOkay, thanks to Unknown I may have three of the letters :)
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteGot it.
Backwards and all :)
11
ReplyDeleteI presume that Holmes was smiling because he had either changed the word on the box or he had taken out whatever was in the box?
11 is an anagram of the last word
ReplyDeleteHello RSA Momma Cyndi !
ReplyDeleteChapter 4 is the map of Bodmin, with the names of 8 paths.
Hi Pascale
ReplyDeleteLook at the numbers on the list then look at the letters those numbers may refer to in each place names
Of the last word? Is anagram one word?
ReplyDelete@RSA Momma Cyndi,
ReplyDeleteThank you ! Finally, it was not difficult, but I couldn't find it without your help.
Yes Unknown.
ReplyDeleteThe last word on the page (not the phrase 'the last word" - sorry)
You then get a prompt which is quite self explanatory.
Pascale, you only need to ask Unknown about my inability to see what is right in front of me. I always over think the easy ones the worst.
ReplyDelete12
ReplyDeleteStuck like superglue to an eyeball in this
Got 10 numbers that don't seem related in any way and no idea how a simple black and white flag helps
Thank you I just could not see it. Expecting a lot more complex
ReplyDelete@Momma Cyndi, if you have the ten letters, try the most basic conversion....
ReplyDeleteLOL, I meant the ten numbers :o)
ReplyDeleteI've tried that Rambler.
ReplyDeleteI've read all the comments and still don't get it
It looks like we need two words of 5 letters each. Probably from the two sets of numbers. The first problem arises when I don't have a clue what letter would be represented by 0 (except for the obvious conclusion that it isn't a number) and none of the darn combinations want to make a legible word.
Have you got the Cornish numbers?
ReplyDeleteOkay, got it but only by google of the one word that I had and then trying my luck :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rambler, the cornish numbers were the only ones that I could anagram :)
ReplyDeleteGood girl :o)
ReplyDeleteNow hurry on to 14 and help me there....
LOL
ReplyDeleteRambler, you are barking up the wrong tree here :) I'm struggling with every level now!
Tried the code word for the cave and tried the name of the guy but ...... nada.
Hi all, playing again and still working on 14
ReplyDeleteAha, got 14 :o)
ReplyDelete@Momma, go back and do exactly what it says. Start at the same place, but go opposite, pick up letters - no need to visit granny...
I can't figure out 13
ReplyDeleteI know it is the Old Tin Mine and I know where the mine is but it is one word only that is needed.
@Donas, the clue is exactly what it says! There really is no point to 4 (of them) ;o)
ReplyDeleteok why am i still stuck on ten, i get the roman part of it , do i take the first letters
ReplyDeleteBigtank
ReplyDeletethe e-d clue is (I presume) the one that tells you the word is backwards
Lol, Rambler, got it. It's amazing what a little sleep will do.
ReplyDelete@bigtank, just say the second part out loud.
ReplyDeleteYou need 4 letters and there's a clue in the text also.
Yea, still no luck on 13.
ReplyDeleteAnother clue would be so very welcome :)
Errr, the E-D bit is simple subtraction...
ReplyDeleteGot to go out for a bit, back soon.
ReplyDeleteDonas, if you get 15 leave me a big juicy clue :o)
e-d was subtraction? No wonder I suck at these LOL
ReplyDeleteBye Rambler, I will
ReplyDeleteChapter 8 was not difficult (the word could easily be guessed), but chapter 9 stumps me.
ReplyDeletePascale, see s-t hint to me at 4:25pm
ReplyDeleteThank you Donas ! I was searching in the wrong direction (history of the bridge and so on).
ReplyDeleteAnd now Chapter 10 with the help of comments above...
ReplyDelete- X/2 could be 10/2 -> 5 -> V in roman numerals
- Horus's eye ?...
- E - D could be 5 - 4 -> 1 -> I in roman numerals
- 50 could be L (roman numerals too).
Am I on the right path ? and what about the 9 letters in the square ?
And I'm back! No-one got 15 yet then?
ReplyDelete@Pascale, for the 2nd letter, see my post to bigtank @ 4.40 am today, for the 3rd see my 4.41 am post. You are right with the first and last though.
The letters in the square are a guide...
Pascale, 1st is correct, say 2nd out loud, 3rd not roman, 4th correct,
ReplyDeleteStill working on 15, help!
ReplyDeleteDonas, I've gone right back to the start and tried loads of things, but nothing works yet. I've used and abused granny quite a lot too lol
ReplyDeleteAha, got 15 :o)
ReplyDeleteIt's one of the oldest but simplest riddle solutions.
Lol Rambler, I went back to the cavern and abused granny too
ReplyDeleteRambler, haven't been riddling long, can you give a different hint?
ReplyDeleteWell, as Holmes might say to Watson, what a CAPITAL idea!
ReplyDeleteTY, Rambler, on to 16
ReplyDeleteBack again and found 13!
ReplyDeleteYou have to go back to the mine map in 8 and then do what the clue says about direction
Yes, had to replay it to there using my scribbled notes.
Am I right in assuming that 14 is a 6 letter word?
ReplyDelete@Momma, yes it is.
ReplyDelete@Donas, well done :o). Any thoughts on 16 yet?
Morse?
ReplyDeleteThanks, got 14 quite easily :)
ReplyDeleteI tried that using the length of the words, but there isn't a 5 character morse letter.
ReplyDeleteAlso tried deleting from the phrase as per the markings, but got nothing yet.
The markings and the phrase both have 14 'characters'. Hmmmm...
same here
ReplyDeleteLOL, just tried skype!
ReplyDeleteLol, Rambler
ReplyDeleteThe 2 ships names fit also, can get a 1st name, but no last, also tried it with the 2 word name of the object, no luck
ReplyDeleteDan's not the man then! lol
ReplyDeletecould 16 be Steinheil ?
ReplyDeleteHey Momma, welcome to level 16. How do you arrive at that (I tried it though lol)
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteSteinheil is a form of morse before morse was thought of
Lol, Momma, learn something new everday!
