  37. @Dr. Lee, Lottie gave a great clue above about the bars. Put the stick on the hook and start where the "start" is written on the stick. Then go down the ladder, kind of like a ghost ladder. You'll go from vertical line 2 to 3 to 4, etc for a total of 6 numbers. Then use that information on the buttons to release Mr. Birdy from the glass case.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Bruteforced drawer to get hook. Finally have triangle key.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I gotta find the bottle first LOL

    ReplyDelete
  40. oh yes, totally missed the Happy Coin - was toooo happy that I made it this time by my own. Have to replay: want that Happy Coin, too ;-))

    ReplyDelete
  41. The bottle may have been in the cabinet? Use the clue from behind the ship's wheel to open the clock for a key.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ty Zoz I forgot that clue...

    ReplyDelete
  43. for hook, you need 4 cards and do the math for 4 digit number.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Ah, thanks for the video, Lottie. A lot of my trouble came from not being able to see details on my monitor.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yay! Went back and got the happy coin.

    ReplyDelete
  46. For happy coin it was WES and with 3E, I thought it must be WEE; but nada. It's 3xE: so EEE - tricky ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Here's a Hint through (no spoilers!)
    1. look at the hats on the g,y, b, r guys on the shelf by the door. Go left and use that information to position the levers in the little box by the double door.
    2. Go thru double door and look at picture of cyan and orange men. Use that info for the picture on the next wall to the left. Flip left switch.
    3. go back to double doors and go downstairs. look around and then turn around and leave, picking up something and looking at a hint as you leave.
    4. Go and open the three door cabinet. Take something from the right cabinet, and note the formula on the door of the center cabinet. The positions of the wine bottles are a clue for something...
    5. Go and open the 3 digit box and take what's in it.
    6. Open the drawer with the four digit code you got from a formula and take something.
    7. Now you can open the glass on the floor and use the stick to get a key.
    8. Use the key on a drawer for a tool.
    9. Use the tool on something to get another tool and also a hint for the clock. Also for the clock, you'll need to check the colors and order of the guys with hats on the shelf. Take the key from the clock pendulum.
    10. Use the key to get a glass bottle and a hint.
    11. Back downstairs, you can now take the gold bottle out of it's case, but you will be trapped there. Use something you got recently on the device at the end of that hall to turn on the water upstairs.
    12. Go up and take something (#2 of 3) that's floating on the water, and fill the glass bottle after making sure it is empty!
    13. Put a switch in place, but it won't stay "on" just yet.
    14. Downstairs, take the golden bottle and go back up stairs.
    15. Use the stick on the window and then hang the stick from the hook. This is a clue to open the case with Mr. Birdy on the shelf above the guys with hats.
    16. Place the Birdy's on their pedestals, and flip the switch. Now put the Birdy's in the correct positions, according to a hint below the switch.
    17. Place the gold bottle and take the key from the hippo.
    18. Look at the back of the key for a Happy Coin clue.
    Escape!

Don't forget to read the comments at the end. Happy 6th Anniversary Tesshi-e, and THANK YOU SO MUCH for the great games!

  57. I don't understand those ghost ladder puzzles. Can someone help me. I understand that you go down and turn each rung, but I don't get how that correlates into numbers! Please help!

    ReplyDelete
  58. LOVE these games! They do calm me and they do bring me happiness. I look forward to playing many more! These are one of the few games I actually go back and play again and again. Thanks so much for the beautiful, challenging games.

  59. Pet peeve: If you work anywhere in the graphics industry, calibrate your monitor. Your game is useless if it is too dark for users to see the clues. There is an industry standard for a very good reason.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Excellent game - thank you Tesshi-e, for all the great games you've shared with us the last 6 years!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Forget it. I watched the walkthrough and think I understand ghost ladders now.

  62. English Translation :idahhh,

    Please know you're LOVED!!!!

Congratulations on making games the world plays!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I think Tesshi-e games are the best games on the internet.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Even though this was a hard one and I needed a lot of help (I was totally stuck with the ghost leg, the orange-blue gentlemen, the clock, and so on), I enjoyed every single click again.

I love your graphics as I can feel a loving attention in it with those cute Mr Birdies, the reflections, the details in every tool and the happy coin bringing happiness to us. Your games are always logical (even when I feel dumb when I read the solution).

Finding a new Tesshi-e game is always a precious moment. Happy anniversary and thank you deep from my heart. I'd like to send you a large chest full of happy coins!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Nothing to add to that. Really great stuff.

However in my p.o.v., you could REALLY leave out these shoddy ghost ladders!
They will ALWAYS get me stuck in your games, lol!!

Thanks for the Birdy spoiler with the 4 buttons - I needed it! I can't even understand how and why we have to jump from button 1 to button 3 at the end of the sequence.
    It's all Greek to me.

  69. Pet peeve: If you work anywhere in the graphics industry, calibrate your monitor. Your game is useless if it is too dark for users to see the clues. There is an industry standard for a very good reason.

@bill, don't get me started on that topic again!!
Sometimes the problem is that the author's screens are set to excess brightness! So we guys with our monitors set by approved (!) calibration tools see nothing at all! Sure, because to have a normal view, we would have to crank up the brightness the same way the author did/does!

  70. In case someone is playing this the next day, here's another spoiler-free hint for the two guys on the picture, or, as I'd like to call it, a "translation table"!

The clue on the picture inside the double-doors says:

    blue - tilting LEFT
    red . tilting LEFT
    blue - tilting RIGHT
red . tilting LEFT (ah, again!)
    red . tilting RIGHT
blue - tilting RIGHT (once again)

What you need to be aware of is that...

    - Top and Bottom LEFT side controls the tilting of the BLUE guy *only*

    - Top and Bottom RIGHT side controls the tilting of the RED guy *only*

Or, if we assigned numbers to each corner...

    1------------2
    |
    3------------4

the blue guy would be controlled by the ODD sides, and the red guy by the EVEN sides.

hope this helps to understand the logic behind it

  71. Thank-you for a great 6 years, Tesshi! Yours were among the first escape games I was introduced to and why I keep playing them! Please keep on!

    Absolutely TOP SHELF, as always!

  75. Happy Anniversary Tesshi-e - we love you!!!

  76. Tesshi-e, thank you for six years of relaxing games. Although I often need help they are perfectly logical and when I am able to solve them alone I am chuffed with myself.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Tesshi-e, thank you for such beautifully crafted and gorgeous games. They are challenging and relaxing at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I tried and tried the clock with 14:40 - but at end it was 13:40

    ReplyDelete
  79. The ghost ladder spoilt the game for me. It's totally rubbish and bull. Even after looking at the video WT I can't understand how people can come up with those numbers. The two gentlemen is not so hard, but the ghost ladder is pure crap.
