Tesshi-e Express aka Escape from the Compartment of a Truck is another Japanese point and click type room escape game created by Tesshi-e, who is also creator of Mild Escape, Escape from the Underground Room and Escape from the Forest of the Fairy, Ground Escape, Escape from the Balloon Room and Escape from the Same Rooms games. And now I'm stuck. With a ladder, a tri-colored paper and some switches. Going first is not such a thrill.
ok, I'm stuck already...where's the ladder?!?
Made all the drawers red, and now have a screwdriver.
Don't know why/how, got some paper and a blue key and the switch changes colour...
Ladder is under the console on the left of the drawers. Open by putting blue key in console.
Found box, put lever on open but the green key stays inside.

Wow, I'm here before a walkthrough! You go up ladder by clicking fourth rung up. Wheres green key?

Where is the second battery and what are the happy coin and light bulb guy for?
one battery is in the slot near the floor on the left wall,its on the left side of it. the other batttery is in one of the cabinets, try opening them with all the switches off. I've got tool off top of dolls head, and happy coin from cabinets which are now yellow, anyone any further than that? Cos I'm stuck now!

Doh! The ONLY combination of switches I didn't try was with the switches off.
I got them all open (received happy coin), you do have to go up and down turning the doors blue, red, and gray, eventually you'll get them all open. I feel slow, pinky4eva, where on the left is the slit for the 2nd battery?
When the slot on the left side is open, click the left side of it and it will zoom in and you'll see the battery.

I have 2 black keys, 1 blue key (used), flag thing, toy, 1 battery (used), ladder, screwdriver. Cannot figure out how the heck to get that green key out at all.

You need a second battery to get the box open upstairs.
And sorry, it's a brown/yellow key in it, not green.
jessica, to get near the cabinets and start finding things, you have to go up first.
got the tool from light bulb man, used it on the thing where the 2nd battery was. used the brown key on the code box, thought it might be 2008 (from happy coin) but no such luck. I also made the ripped paper whole (is the password the number of boxes you can open according to color?) Any ideas?
NVM...have coin...didn't realise I needed all cabinets open at once! No idea on code at other end though!
Must be two ways out. With the green key you need 4 digit code. Other way is where the second battery is in hole were rod was. There is a slot for the key like tool. Put it in and turn it. A door will open and you can escape.
get happy coin by opening all of the cabinets and then press the green button on the ladder to get yellow cabinets

Yup, that pin gets you one ending.
I wonder if language is a problem to find out the ending where you use the keypad.

I got the happy coin 2008 when i opened all the box (hint : get all the box opened and change the color, red, blue, and black)...
I don't know what to do with the litte black key ... help !

I think the paper leads us to the code. it's red/green/green/blue. When you make the cabinets red and open all the ones that can be opened you see a 1. Do this with blue and you see a 7. Just don't know what green is...
angel, it takes 2 batteries, black flat key, and the screwdriver, past posts tell you where to find all of them

ive got all doors open, other box open need code and i know because this is a tesshie game a happy coin. have flag thing and black key not used.

side box must be on red, all switches on green.
just playing with diffrent switch combonations to see if any thing changes. so far no.
on start of game the truck license plate was 7548 tried it as code doesnt work.
got out without putting code in box. still no happy coin, no perfect end, Retry!

WALKTHROUGH
1. First scrren: zoom in and open all the blue box you can and take the blue key and a red, green, blue paper.
2. Go left and put the blue key in the keyhole on the wall and press the red botton.
3. Zoom out and take the ladder. Zoom in on the left side of the sloth and find a battary.
4. Go to the doors and zoom in, take the ladder to get the black key on the top of the door.
5. Zoom out and zoom in on the blue boxes,then click in the ceilling and find a door. Take the ladde and click on the door then zoom out, go upstairs.
6. You will see a control panel,
you have to get the boxes in 3 colors, blue, red and gray to get item.
From the left: Switch the botton to Green, Green, Red, Green and red.
This should turn the boxes red, now go downstairs and open all the boxes you can to get the screwdriver.
Go upstairs again and turn the power off, (the big botton) and go down to open the rest. You will find the second battary and a yellow thing.
7. Go upstairs and turn the power on and all the rest of the botton (all green), go down and take away the ladder. Everything turn in to gold and you will find a gold coin.
8.Go upstairs and click on the ceilling and you will see a black box with a green key in. Use the screwdriver, put the battary in and open the box and get the BROWN/YELLOW key.
9. Go down and put the Brown/yellow key to the box near the doors. Go to the blue boxes and turn around until you see the yellow thing. In the yellow thinngs head(click on he's rigth arm) you will get a key, of some sort. Go to the box on the wall near the blue boxes and there you found a battary there will be a keyhole. Put the key in this keyhole and turn it. Now, zoom out and turn a round until you see a open door.
YOU HAVE ESCAPE FROM "Escape from the Compartment of the Truck".

never thought about taking away ladder..DUH. got happy coin.
But I did'nt get the code=(
I only needed the metal rod (it lowers a ladder, I don't think it's a ladder itself), the blue key, the toy and the key in its head to escape. Is there a way to use all the other items? Maybe get a different ending?
That took patience to whomever went through almost 300 numbers to get the code!

You can escape from the code, the code is 7172 or the key from the yellow thing.
27 in the code is from plate: 75-48=27
so... where is the happy ending? I escaped through both doors (thanks to help above) :-)
..i mean, there's usually fairies at the end in Tesshi-e's games, or do I remember it wrong?
(for those who might wonder about the flag: the colours help you figure out the code, you get one number from the red doors, one number from the blue doors and one number from the green licence plate in the beginning of the game)
I'm looking and looking and I don't see a ladder anywhere. I put the blue key in the console and got some metal bar thing. Where the heck is the ladder?
It's the gray pipe, come's up when you turn the blue key...(under the keybox)

to zoom in or move forward in the truck, you have to click the top of the window as though you were going to look at the ceiling.
i'm out!!! i actually found most of the items before i needed help to finish...and most of them i found by accident LOL! thanks again to all who helped so much by posting. you helped me finish the game!
