Hi Hil, Nice to see you again. I would just be happy finding one ending at this point. I have found a cross, circle and a "cane". I can see something on the coffee tabke but i can't pick it up. I think it is behind glass. tried everything in my inventory LOL
O and found lots of letters all over the place

2 keys are used in the kithen.
F is to the right of the stove. B is to the bottom right of the sink.

Handle is under stereo table
To get into the kitchen: close of the door and then to the right
still can't find handle to open the "mild escape" spot, and can't pick up what ever it is on the table between the couches.
I found all 9 and put them in the right order but nothing happens?!
How do we get into the attic?
donald, each letter corresponds to a number (Roman numeral). Click each letter in the order as it is 'numbered.' The letters are:
A B C
D E F
G H I
so, if F is 1, click that button first, I is 2, click that button second, B is 3, click that button third, and so on...

Did you all notice that the colour box changes every time you click it and select "about item"? Maybe a clue?
The cross, circle and pawn are all represented by a coloured light, i tried to match it with the colourbox.......
stuck. got the door open and got the rod and attached it to the other rod in inventory................

Use colorpbox and match the colors from where you put the stone figures. Then you have the code for the window
i'm at the attick with the code for the window (thanks gordo) but don't know what to do there, i think i have to solve the color box first
once outside turn around to face the slider and there is a long pole which you can attach to the cane. use this to reach the ladder and then position the ladder under the attic entrance.
YIPEE I figured out the color box and the window code at the same time cool!! use the color box to give you numbers (visually) for the lock. remember that the light above the cross was green. try and make all the boxes on the color box green and see what number you get.
I don't know if this helps.

Hmmm... Now I'm at the attic and have a red stool. There's a machine of some sort, like a giant box, with a kind of dial by its side, but I am unable to do anything with it...

aha! the color box is not a code, it's a clue!
I noticed earlier that certain boxes wouldn't change certain colors, and now I know why!
when you put the stone figures in the box, they lit up green, red, blue.
On the color box, you try to make all the boxes green, only some of them won't turn green. The ones that are green make a 6.
The ones that can turn red make a 2, and the ones that turn blue make a 1.

@feline, it's no red stool, it's a sort of magnet, try it on the coffee table
Harvest, the ladder is outside the slider window door. The attic is an attic, the trapdoor for it is to the left of main door.

Oops! I'm not out yet! The ladder is lying on the grass, grabb it it with a hook and place the ladder under the opening in the ceiling. There waits another surprise......I found a sort of stool upside down.....

in response to those who thanked me for the slider code i had no idea how to do it. i just figured the cross represented the # of windows, the circle represented the # of burners, and the bishop represented itself. so just dumb luck i guess.
finally out! but which ending is the one with the table and 2 chairs? thanks for all your help, this had great graphics, but the navigation was a little tricky, thank you Shuchun :-)

R C, if exiting through the door with the coin gets you cake and coffee, then we have all 3 endings: only table, table with coffee and balloon.

You guys are wayyyyy ahead of me! Figured out letter code for myself, and got red key, but can't use it on kitchen door?! And the rod's no help on top of the kitchen cupboards either...so...I'm seriously stuck lol

@ginger, the silver key opens the cabinet under the stove. The red key opens the one under the sink. The rod with one end is used on the middle cabinet in kitchen.
red key on kitchen door under the sink, ginger. once you view the lower cabinets, go all the way to the right.

@atapth, to get happy coin you must find everything, then take a look at the stereo to get a clue on how to obtain the coin.
Okay...found metal piece now, and number for B, which I guessed before...now where to use this metal piece? Hm...
@donald, lol! So I did figure out something! Not very useful to the game, but it's better than nothing, right? I still have some brain cells left! Lol!
@ginger*, the metal piece you get from under the sink is used almost at the end of the game...

Yay! Finally found pawn in kitchen cupboard...clicked that spot like a million times before lol. Fit in cross, circle and pawn, and see colours light up...hurray...but stuck again lol

Feline, I have cross, circle and pawn in place, but can't find the colour box you guys were talking about...also have the rod still, and the metal piece I can use at the end of the game...but I'm not there right now...I don't know what to do next...you see?
@ginger*, have you already found the three shapes? The cross is in one of the drawers in china cabinet (the one with the blue/white squares); the circle is lying on the floor by the kitchen counter (at the living room side) and the pawn is in the kitchen cabinet.
You have to put the shapes in the chine cabinet (right bottom door). That will give you a silver key (after you close it).
Have you done that already?

Holy villa! Found the key, Feline! I'm so embarrassed...it was just lying there, waiting for me while I was thinking of champagne, caviar, jazz, dancing and being stuck lol. Now, I'll wander around with my precious silver key...will you still be around in case I get stuck again?
Put the shapes in the yellow box with "mild escape" written on it, close the door and a silver key appears below it.
With silver key you can open door below the stove and get a box with carved shapes on it. Click this box at bottom part to see a green key and take it. Then click the box and about item, click its top to "unturn" it, then click its middle to open it and there you have! Your colour box!
Note the letters/roman numerals, then click the buttons in the china cabinet in its order (following the hint from drawer).

Woa! Was checking out the balcony and found a metal rod to combine with the other rod...turned it into a megasuper cane, and picked up the ladder with it...tralilala...happy...now going back inside to find out where the attic is...seems I got the whole villa to myself now lol
@ginger*, the hint of colour box is to see numbers. So, remember the colours of dots above shapes in the yellow box (green, red, cyan). Try turning all possible buttons green and you'll see a 6 drawn in green, then do that with red and cyan and get 2 and 1, respectively.
Did you get one part of the rod above wardrobe on kitchen entrance? Combine that with the other part you find outside above the other glass window and you can reach the ladder.
Lol, you got it! To see the trapdoor for attic, from first scene click left twice then click back (bottom part of screen) when facing door.

So, for the balloon end, you must find something to turn that giant screw by the side of that big box/wardrobe in the attic. Take a look on the radio for the hint on finding a... happy coin!

@ginger*, I'm here! Take a look on the radio and try typing the hint on the blue/white squares in china cabinet. Get your prize and go to the attic. Unscrew the BIG screw on the side of wardrobe in attic and get another BIG thing. Put it in the cross shaped hole in the attic wall and turn (click) it. There! Our balloon!
Thank god I'm not stupid lol...found the coin, yippeeee! Now back to the attic...
