  79. Bird SPOILER:

    Birds looking

    1) BACK-BACK-LEFT
    - arrows point right-right-up from top to bottom, but when you put your head on your right shoulder, you can see up-up-left

    2) RIGHT-BACK-LEFT
    - hint: W-S-E at big hippo (from top to bottom)
    - note where North is with magnet on little box on water in bowl (to the right, righ wall non-zoomed), keep it in mind when turning in the room
==> birds facing forward = looking at North

    Everything still clear...?!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Another Great Tesshi-e!
The only thing missing was the story of how she got locked in! lol

    ReplyDelete
  81. Have the rope attached, but missing the obvious four digit clue; have looked everywhere?

    ReplyDelete
  82. POP; it was on the rope itself!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Thanks for all the tips; couldn't have done it without them. Good one, Tesshi-!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Help! I got magnet, a coin, can't get screwdriver from drawer, puzzle in drawer is not working, can't get wrench because it won't let me magnetize it, so what am I supposed to do to progress the game?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Tania,
    - for SD, you need a keycard to activate puzzle (shape in backside of card): use colored dot numbers on bowl for birds, when they're coloured.
    - use coin on tube with wrench to open it.

    ReplyDelete
  86. ...shape *hint on backside...

    ReplyDelete
  87. Tania,
Use the coin and after that the magnet to get the wrench.

Btw. I'm out with happy coin. But I think I didn't use the bottle!? Or did I?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Hoi, s-t,
you poured water from bottle in bowl with coloured dots.

    ReplyDelete
  89. But yep, you didn't use the bottle itself...!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Lol, I didn't. Just loaded a saved game and yep I can do that. But I was out with the happy coin without doing that. What was it for? I could see the coloured dots and the changed coloured dots without using the bottle?

    ReplyDelete
  91. after water you put wood and magnet on it
so you see where is north - as i remember

    ReplyDelete
  92. There were two hints on the dots (numbers of colours), dots changed colours for 2nd hint, that was for birds to get happy coin.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Ah ok, thanks Sue.
I think I had a lucky guess then with only the arrows to see where north was to use it on the birds.

    ReplyDelete
  94. yes - I also figured it out by myself - not that hard with 3 birds... i just rotated them 1 afzter another...

    ReplyDelete
  95. have pulley system all hooked up but can't seem to lift the item... How do you activate the pulley??

    ReplyDelete
  96. You need a lever. I think you get that from using the 4 digit code that's on the rope.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thanks ST. But I haven't seen anywhere to put that code in.. Just been circling the room like crazy!

    ReplyDelete
  98. POP! Forgot about that behind the first picture.. Thought I was done in there...

    ReplyDelete
  99. I think it was behind the left painting.

    ReplyDelete

  127. [Deleted previous comments for a really silly and nonsensical typo, haha]

I've played late, and it sems there is a slightly different version of the game now.
    I'll elaborate in a minute...

This seemed a little quiet, story-wise, but at the end I saw that Mild Escape has reached it's fifth year and realised that Tesshi-e perhaps deserved a break from storylining! Congratulations, Tesshi-e, we love your games, and would be happy to play as many as you would like to create =D
Thanks also, to Idahhh, who fearlessly tackles the translations beautifully!

    The change:
I went to premiere's perfect walkthrough to see why my hippo-opening order wasn't working on the five big hippo buttons and saw that it should.
In desperation, I went back to the little hippos and made them yawn again and found that the order had changed.
    Spoiler in the next post...

Also, this time I didn't have to open the exit door before I found the happy coin.

Thanks again, Tesshi-e and Idahhh =D

    ReplyDelete
  129. Hi Rookwings,
the solution in the vid WT is the same as in my WT, so I cleaned cache & cookies & quickly replayed (thankfully the hippo yawning - like that LOL - is just at the beginning) & had still the same order (3-1-4-2-5) in both language versions...!
    :-o
The only thing that has changed so far, is, that the translation is now online (thx @idahhh! ☺)

    ReplyDelete
  130. & to be really sure, I quickly played till the big hippo code & it was still 3-1-4-2-5 (for big hippo & on little ones)...!
So, I really don't know, where your order comes from...

    ReplyDelete
  131. The big hippo code was 2-4-1-3-5 for me.

    ReplyDelete
  132. @Trig

Actually, there once were FOUR "star artists".

But Bianco-Bianco seems to have retired...

    ReplyDelete
  133. Phew! Thank you TooCule, I nearly began to wonder if I was hallucinating there!
    To premiere:
'Where my order comes from' is the second time I tried the little hippos because my first order didn't work [same first game. No refresh or reload]. I had the 3-1-etc. code first, to open the hippo's mouths, but it didn't work for my big hippo code. I have BOTH codes in my notes, which makes me think it can't be different codes for individual players.
I suppose the answer is to try the yawning hippos order again if the code doesn't work.
I didn't mind one little bit, though. It made the game a bit longer - and I didn't really need help after all =D
    To arbeitslooser:
Depends on the games a person most enjoys. I'd of course include Detarou, but I'd still include Selfdefiant and Tessi-e, Personal taste.
In that way it's arbitrary ;D

    ReplyDelete
  134. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  135. I would have included Detarou too (previously), but I must say his older games were better by a great extent.
Plus, I just wanted to also recapitulate Bianco-Bianco's moniker to make the "new-comer" folks here aware of his still excellent (though old) games, especially when there's a another "empty time gap" to surmount between releases.
