ReplyDeletevibe - you have to get the white thing under the tub. you put the plug in the tub, fill with water and then drain. the white thing will be on the floor. you can attach it to the door and get out of the bathroom.

ReplyDeleteOnce you do the WAIT/hippo puzzle again, you get key for wall cabinet containing hose. Use that with funnel and attach in bathroom. Put drainplug from tub into sink and then run water in shower. Go back to wxz puzzle and put your pontoon boat in where the water has filled. Then go back to bathroom and remove sink plug. You'll get heart key.

ReplyDeletefor happy coin look at the tea set on the desk it will poor some tea and reveal a new code for the bathroom door, then you can zoom in on the code box again. i did this after unlocking the exit door but not going out.

To get Happy Coin, put keys back in desk, then eat jelly, it will give you a new pattern for the keypad by bathroom door.

the mirror code is very simple...just count the number of pink and gold symbols and insert those numbers in the appropriate places in the desk...then go back to the bathroom and the mirror will have moved aside :)

I'm not sure why they call these "Mild" Escapes, because they are always tough. Perhaps it has to do with the oh-so-mellow music, which I assume is there to keep us sedated so we don't start screaming uncontrollably. Whatever the logic, here is a WalkThrough based on the comments of many people who are much more clever than me!
Go forward into the room
Click on the pillow to elevate it and take the clip
Go left and zoom on the picture on the wall
Note the button beside the word "WAIT"
So click the button and WAIT
(seems so obvious in retrospect, ha! I actually found myself looking for white arrows and crystals and baseballs for a moment)
Some symbols will appear. Make a note of them.
Back up and go to the odd little machine on the lower shelf of the stand on the right.
Using the symbol code from the picture, press the buttons on the left and right and then press the "PUSH" key in the middle (solutions will follow)
Take the aluminum tube
Open the right drawer and take the tape
Back up and go left
Zoom on the desk and take the red carnation
In the "About Item" view, click on the stem and it will become a stem with a core of iron
there was controversy earlier in the Comments about using the tape on the stem, but that's not necessary - just click the stem)
Back up and click on the teapot on the right side of the desk - take the teapot lid handle
Click on the cabinet with the Iron Cross (above the teapot) and take the yellow funnel
Attach the teapot lid handle to the funnel
Back up and zoom on the back of the chair: +bathroom is your code for opening the bathroom door.
Go to the hallway and turn to face the bathroom. Enter the code in the keypad and open the door.

Part II: Exploring the Bathroom

While in that same view, click on the toilet paper cover and take the spade key that is taped beneath it
Zoom on the top of the toilet and click on the stack of towels on the rack above it.
Take the Diabolical Clue Note
Also, take the rod on top of the toilet tank
Back up and zoom on the mirror; Make a note of the number of each symbol portrayed there (there are 7 Stars of David and 5 Iron Crosses)
Now Zoom under the Bathtub and notice there is something you cannot reach.
Back up and click on the inside of the bathtub.
On the side of the bathtub is a button - push it to close the drain.
Back up and turn on the shower.
When the shower is finished, click on the drain button again to drain the water.
In this same view, you can take the stopper from the tub bottom
Back up and take the White Plastic Piece that is lying on the floor drain
This is the bathroom door lock handle and you must place it in the hole in the door just beneath the door handle to exit the bathroom.
Turn around and face the door and place the lock handle and leave the bathroom.
Next, we'll enter the Code Twilight Zone back in the bedroom.

ReplyDeleteTake the spade key back to the drawers under the odd little machine where you got the aluminum tube and open the left drawer.
Take the model airplane and click on it twice in the "About Item" view to get it in position, then put it aside for now.
Go back to the picture on the wall and press the "WAIT" button and wait. A new symbol code will appear.
Go back to the odd little machine, enter the new symbol code and
take the club key from the middle wooden piece.
Back up and turn around to face the bed, then zoom on the wall cabinet.
Use the club key to unlock the cabinet and take the blue hose
With the blue hose in the "About Item" view, attach the yellow funnel to it.
Go back to the view facing the desk, and click on the picture on the wall to the left. You will note that the letters "WXZ" appear at the bottom of the picture and there is a place to enter numbers in the order X-X X-X X-X
Recall the Diabolical Clue Note you found earlier? Well all you have to do is interpret that.
[Shuchun figured out the code, followed shortly by natloud. It was all I could do to understand the explanation, forget about solving the code on my own. At any rate, the solution will appear in the last post]
Enter the code and take the pliers
Back up and go to the desk and look behind the little cabinet door with the Star of David on it. Place the spade key and the club key and take the second aluminum tube
Back up to remove the keys, then zoom again and enter the correct number from the bathroom mirror. Then do the same for the cabinet with the Iron Cross.
Now return to the bathroom.
The mirror has moved!
Now you can see that there is a chamber behind the mirror and there is a key inside.
Take the yellow funnel - blue hose contraption and attach it to the hole above the key chamber. The other end will automatically attach to the shower head.
Zoom on the sink and place the drain stopper you took from the bathtub in the spigot over the sink.
Turn on the shower, and the chamber will fill just a bit with water, but not enough to dislodge the key.
Time to build a pontoon plane!
Go back to the bedroom and zoom on the area where the "WXZ" picture was.
Use the pliers to remove the carnation from it's iron rod.
View the model plane in the "About Item" view and add
- the two clips
- the two rods to the ends of the clips
- the two aluminum tubes to the rods
and use the tape to attach the aluminum tubes securely to the rods.
Now launch the pontoon plane into the chamber partly filled with water (the boat enters through the hole where the WXZ picture was)
Go back to the bathroom and remove the stopper from the sink spigot, draining the chamber and releasing the "heart key" into the sink.
Take the heart key and use it to unlock the door to the hallway.
But don't leave yet!
Go back in the room and enjoy some delicious green tea and jelly cakes.
Use the symbol on the doily under the cakes for the bathroom keypad.
Take the Happy Coin and make your Happy Escape!

ReplyDeleteThanks to Shuchun and f_h_stephens for explaining that code and again to stephens for giving the hint about where to get the Club key when we go back to the picture.
The WXZ hint bothered me and took me some time to fully understand it, but I got it.
WXZ represent the numbers with those letters in them.
Then you spell them out:
tWo
siX
Zero
After spelling them out, create the subtraction equation using the example you found in the Bathroom. Which would be the numeric version of the texted number minus the numeric position of the WXZ letter:
tWo would be 2(text) - 2(W letter position) or 2-2
siX would be 6(text) - 3(X letter position) or 6-3
Zero would be 0(text) - 1(Z letter position) or 0-1
LOL, took me a while to get that.
Another one I found interesting was finding the second keypad shape after using the key on the exit door.
What I did was use the Heart key on the door, turned back around and clicked on the bathroom door to zoom in. I clicked on the keypad (don't know if that was necessary or not)and then went back in the room and clicked on the tea set where an animation showing you eating the sweet bean jelly commences and thus showing you the new shape for the keypad.
So yeah, I got the Happy Coin end!

1. click the main exit once so the door slightly opens
2. go back and eat the snacks on table, see code
3. go back to the bathroom panel... you know what to do.
